Hotel Faro  

staye in Faro for 3 days in January, weather perfect. hotel spotlessly clean, recommend a marine view bedroom, beautiful large bathroom. Restaurant for buffet breakfast and dinner on 4 thfloor withan outside terrace, amazing views, an great buffet breakfast. Ideal for bus station and train station

Maybe an outside hand rail by the side of the steps leading into the front of the hotel, but definitely no complaints only a suggestion

The rooms were really nice and breakfast was ok. The only thing is that the rooms were really hot so we would go from cold outside to super hot inside. Hotel staff was super nice.

Our booking didn't go as planned - but the staff did everything in their power to make it up to us. There is no real 4 or 5 star hotels in Faro - this would probably be the best in the 4 star category.

Location was great for the town and various sites. Restaraunt was good. Staff very helpful and good.

No tea and coffee facility in room. Balcony but no view. Asked for tea in room in the morning and told only one staff member on, would be difficult.

We used the hotel as an overnight stay following a holiday in the Algarve. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. From checking in to checking out, they were friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast was superb and the views from the roof terrace (where the restaurant and bar were situated ) were absolutely brilliant. Well recommended!

The food was good with a very experience chef Alberto Carvalho and the dinner service was excellent mainly by Nuno Lopez. They provided us with a tray breakfast on the last evening of our stay as we had an early flight out.

The hotel would have been great if there was a spa facility ie jacuzzi,steam room and sauna.

Good hotel, lovely rooms with quality breakfast. One of the better hotels on the spanish/prtuguese coast

Bit noisy from the street sometimes

Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Helpful and very efficient staff. Lovely hotel.

Lovely view of marina and convenient to bus and train stations. Hotel staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Very good breakfast on terrace which is also a good place for a nightcap.

Modern, boutique hotel with a roof top bar/restaurant terrace with great views of the marina and town roofscapes and imaginative lighting. Deserves more than the business/overnight-close-to-airport role that it clearly plays.

Big black mark for providing no tea/coffee making facility in the room. As the flight time meant checking out well before first breakfast availabilty, no wake up refreshment was available.

Comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. Staff very nice and helpful. Food in restaurant top class.Location Location location. We sayed in Hotel Faro for 4 days and enjoyed it very much.Best of all was food in the restaurant,really amazing. The staff in restaurant very good indeed.We tried other places to eat but nothing could compare with Hotel Faro. The room also had a view of the marina which I asked for when booking.

The bed was comfortable.

Internet was very slow

The bedroom was very comfortable, good beds and pillows, also very spacious. The hotel is modern and very clean. It's central, it has a beautiful view to the marina and the sea, close to restaurants and shops. The hotel offered a trip to the Desert islands which I advise, very beautiful indeed! You can spend a great day at the beach in a desert island.

There was a lot of noise coming out of the ventilation. We tried to turn off the air conditioning but without any result. That was our only problem.
