Located less than a 10 minute drive from Praia da Oura Beach, Hotel Montechoro offers spacious rooms with private balconies. It boasts an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by lounge chairs. Rooms at Montechoro Hotel are bright and have floor-to-ceiling windows. Some offer panoramic Atlantic Ocean views. Each air conditioning room has satellite TV and bathrooms with a hairdryer. Within the hotel there is a fitness center, an indoor racquetball court and outdoor tennis courts. For guests’ relaxation, the Montechoro features a sauna and massage facility. Montechoro offers several restaurants with both buffet and menu options. During summer, drinks are available from the pool-side bar. There is also a game room with pool table. A complimentary shuttle runs from Oura Beach and Albufeira several times a day, and freshly packed lunches can be arranged by request. Hotel Montechoro is 650 ft from the lively Albufeira Strip. good location, clean and tidy rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. It could do with a bit more entertainment, children were a bit bored round the pool but water polo and basket ball offered for adults. Bar prices quite steep 1-2 euro's dearer than bars accross the street.

Everything - it may have been a four star when it was built,but it is now very shabby and requires a definite refurbishment to be allowed to retain the four stars -- the staff also need replacing as they just can't be bothered.

We have stayed in room number 810 and our frinds in 812 The Hotel: too many people - not enough elevators! breakfast was too busy! A lot of noise from above and next door!! Rooms: very old not clean bath room is very old. The sink, the bath and the ceiling are RUSTY and the toilet and the bidet are broken!! We are traveling to the Algarve 2 x a year at least, but we'll never come back to this Hotel.

Plenty of parking spaces available. They provide a shuttle service to the beach and to the town area. This hotel is old and requires a complete renovation. The pool is very small compare with the number of guests staying at the hotel. The rules in the pool are not respected at all, guest will reserve sun beds before going to breakfast although this is not supposed to be allowed. The air conditioning in the room is very poor, I reported mine twice, they improve it but was not cold enough, in the end I gave up!! The televisions in the room are antique, they do not provide a tv channel list, I think because it is luck of the draw if you can mange see a program. The wardrobe has a farm of insets inside. The lights in the bedroom can only be switched on from the side of the bed. The bathroom is so old that there is not shine on the taps, which makes feel older. The shuttle service they provide is only until early evening.

Ideal location, good breakfast good staff. The television was far too small and looked like a cheap portable your mate gave you as a favour. The tv channels were very very very poor only bbc world news was available which for a four star hotel is pretty poor

Have stayed many times due to good location and very good value for money Only1 (bbc World) and a bit (Eurosport) English tv channels. I'm sure that there used to be more, Surely it should be easy to provide more as they have many English speaking guests.

Do atendimento por parte dos funcionários, atenciosos e efecientes. Parque de estacionamento gratuito. Ligação gratuita de autocarro à praia. O hotel não é recente o que se reflecte nos quartos, limpos e espaçosos, contudo a precisar de remodelação: casas de banho com louças muito antigas, carpete muito descolorida devido ao sol e de tantas lavagens. O Hotel precisa de remodelação para continuar a ser atractivo.

Em tempos era um hotel de luxo.....mas agora está a precisar urgentemente de remodelações e muita modernização, no sentido manterem os hóspedes satisfeitos. Se continuarem assim vão acabar por perder hóspedes e fechar, mais ano menos ano.

Optimo conforto, boa animação em lingua inglesa e portuguesa, pequeno almoço super completo, bons acessos, boa isolasão de sons. O hotel está a precisar de uma reforma principalmente no que se refere ás casas de banho, no entanto nao deixa de ser tudo bem organizado e funcional.

A relação preço/qualidade é razoavel e a sua localização relativamente perto da praia é de salientar. A comida é boa. Necessita de ser remodelado, pois as casas de banho e a sua canalização já são antigas, assim como a decoração dos quartos. Não parece ser um hotel de 4 estrelas!

Excelente cercania a los sitios de compras, restaurantes bares y discotecas, a tan sólo 10 minutos andando. A pesar de estar cerca del ambiente nocturno, su ubicación es en un lugar muy tranquilo. El trato del personal es muy agradable, tiene un parking grande gratuito y las instalaciones pistas de tenis, piscina muy bien. Habitaciones muy amplias y vistas a Albufeira espectaculares desde la terraza. El equipamiento de las habitaciones podía remodelarse, eliminar moquetas, cambiar las camas, son muy blandas, y la television algo más grande, y dada la cercanía con España y el numero de españoles que se alojan, que tuvieran más cadenas en Español. Tan sólo una cadena de habla castellana. Hay que levantarse muy temprano para desayunar tranquilo, son muchísimas habitaciones y la as 10:00 hora tope hay que hacer colas en el bufet, hay muchísma gente.

Adoramos o serviço de pequeno almoço e os animadores. Obrigado Cristina, Juliana e Jorge. Fomos bem recebidos por todos os funcionários. A agua da piscina estava muito turva. O serviço de autocarro tem muito que se lhe diga.

Es muy buen precio para las instalaciones que tiene. Se aprecia que es un hotel viejo y con muy pocas reformas pero el precio se adapta a los servicios que ofrecen. El desayuno está fenemenal. El agua de la piscina estaba un poquito sucia.
