Rooftop bar the views were fab
Splendid breakfast, Splendid room. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Mundial very much.
The location of the hotel is perfect. I especially enjoyed that next to it is beautiful Moniz square that is perfect for morning exercise. The breakfast was more than plentiful and the room was very spacious and clean. Not a single negative thing to say.
The staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel was very clean and the food was very nice. Close to all we wanted to see and good restaurants in walking distance.
Beware of the Taxi's outside, always make sure they give you a prices before you take the journey. One of out party was charged double to the rest of us for the same journey. Also if you think you have been charged too much get a receipt then you can report to Police. This was the advise given to us from the hotel.
Location was perfect, breakfast was great
Rooftop bar was closed despite the hotel being almost fully booked, free wifi only in lobby,
The room was very hot and it seemed that even with the temperature control turned to the lowest temperature and switched to cooling it had no effect on room temperature.
Fabulous restaurant Good location Size of room and comfort
Breakfast could have been a little better. Better choice of fruit for example.
Location was excellent Roof top restaurant was excellent quality food
Friendly staff who assisted with booking local tour. Explained layout of trams, metro etc.
Excellant location.Walking distance to shops etc Reception friendly and helpful. Porter very good. Bath water very hot.Heating in room good. Onsite parking a bonus.
Wifi didn't work at all. Bathroom needs revamping. Hot water would be great.
Everything was perfect! Great location, delicious breakfast!
Central location and very easy access to trams, buses and metro to travel around the city. Friendly, helpful staff, plenty of staff at breakfast, and comfortable foyer and bar. Car park a real plus.
Free Wifi, particularly in the foyer was very slow, better in the bar or Jardim restaurant. Just about ok for us on holiday, although we need to check frequently for our business, but if you need constant access, pay the extra.
The room was to me a suite...very spacious I do not like cramped rooms I particularly enjoyed having the area with sofa, chairs and coffee table BED Was very good
I would have liked to have access to channels with series ie NCIS, mentalista, bones Access to Fox,axn etc Not only news, financial and RTP,s
The location is great (it's in the city centre so you can walk and enjoy the surrounding & if you want to go around sightseeing, all the public transport is at your hand: Trams 28, 12, 15E; metro: green line/verde; many buses). As far as facilities are concerned, the roof top bar is gorgeous (a bit over-prised in comparison with other Lisbon bars, but all the same amazing: overlooking the city & St Gorge's castle!); we had a rather spacious room with a large bathroom; the rest of the hotel, though, the lobby & corridors are a bit older. Most of the hotel staff were nice and useful. On the whole, we personally had a wonderful time/stay because we are walkers & the location was perfect in that respect.
Breakfast was quite plain & there was no variety (we stayed for 5 nights) & if you're not an early riser, you have to wait at the entrance of the breakfast room because it is very crowded & you have to wait to be seated where you're told). The bed and especially the pillows were firm & quite uncomfortable. Free WiFi can only be reached in the lobby & the bar/restaurant.
This is in the best location if you want to discover Lisbon. The breakfast is quite good there is a variety of cold and some hot food on offer which is unusual for. The roof terrace is great with fabulous views over Lisbon.
The wifi in the hotel was quite poor there was an issue with the internet when we stayed here. Also the terrace bar didnt open earlier enough for sunrise, it will open at 530pm which in summer months is fine, but when the sun is setting around 5pm in winter to just watch it go down with a cocktail would have been great. We missed it setting but it was still quite lovely up there at 530.
location was good (just nearby the 28th tram stop), close to main historical places, breakfast was OK.
rooms are old and require renovation.
Location is excellent and the view (7th floor only) is amazing. There is free parking. Rooms are spacious.
Staff is not really forthcoming and do not bother to help much - even when you ask or complain (the response is simply: "sorry"). The only great views are from the 7th floor. However, there is a restaurant on 8th floor. When it's open it is not an issue. But, when they close (23:00-23:30) they start moving tables - which means horrible noise for an hour or so (just when you are supposed to get asleep). Then, in the morning at 8h they start cleaning the restaurant (again moving tables, vacuuming, etc.) Mind room this restaurant room is used only for lunch and dinner (not breakfast) - so no reason for cleaning so early. We complained several times - but all they said was "sorry" and all the noise simply continued.
Rooftop bar and restaurant. Close to city centre.
Breakfast was not great and was very crowded. Slightly downmarket location.
The location of the hotel, close to both Baixa and Alfama. Good views from the Rooftop bar. Nice breakfast
Yo few electric outlets in the bedroom. Modern travelers need to charge phones etc. Free wifi only in the lobby.
Excellent service by the staff, excellent location for shops and no need to use a car, ours stayed in their underground car park
On our first visit we had a very nice siE room at the rear, with a view of the castle, this time we had a front facing room which was small and overlooked run down shops and a building site
Location is excelent, also breakfast. Rooms are comfortable...
TV chanels are only IP TV, which means that you have almoust only info chanels. No sport, music, children and film chanels. You can watch films only if you pay 9.99 EUR per film. Wi-fi is not free except in lobby. You should pay 6 EUR per day for wi-fi in the room, which is unacceptable for this rank of hotel... I did not notice this clearly on booking.com, then probably if I know this, I will never choose this hotel...
Rooftop bar at sunset with spectacular views over old Lisbon Excellent location Very helpful staff, nice to see the same faces during multiple visits a year for many years
I would appreciate free WiFi Breakfast can get crowded
Just 10 minutes walk from most important places in the center of Lisbon
