This is the perfect location for enjoying Salema. The hotel over looks the small town square where the vegetable and bread trucks come to sell their wares to the village residents. In the morning you can watch the fishermen unload their fish and octopus pots. The beach is across the street and excellent small restaurants are easy to walk to. This is a place to relax! The hotel has a good breakfast. Rooms are not luxurious, but comfortable. You'll have a pleasant stay. Parking may be tough in the high season - we were there at the perfect time!

Very clean, well-run, extremely efficient. Managers were polite and helpful. They did seemed tired at the end of the season and didn`t really want to engage in any banter.

location was good,,,shower fittings were loose and did not function properly............very small bathroom....no bath ...only a shower... only just a 3 star..... one night for €72....average value..............only good point was the location shower fittings did not work, shower head support was broken.....no bath...otherwise a small friendly hotel in need of upgrading............

Superb location, right by the beach. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Two fantastic restaurants close by. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Highly recommended!

even in high season the hotel provides a cosy atmosphere and an almost oldfashioned feeling of being taken care of. staff and bar are wonderful, as is breakfast. instant relaxation on the tiny but efficient balcony with seaview! make sure you get a room with the bed facing the sea. lovely beach in front, even a quiet one 5 minutes from hotel. singel beds; noises from neighbouring rooms

Yet again, we were really pleased with the hotel. This is our third visit and we could recommend it to anyone for a beach holiday. It is literally only a few metres from the beach. The rooms are spotless, with clean bedding and towels each day. This year's bathroom was much bigger and better than we have had before! The staff are all friendly and eager to help what ever the need. If I had wanted to watch tv in the room, the reception was very limited........but not a problem! The wardrobe had a musty woody smell but this did not affect our clothes.

The hotel was probably the best in this small seaside village that we wanted to visit. We enjoyed the little balcony with its sea view. We were not looking for nor expecting luxury accomodations. The breakfast was better than many we had in Portugal.

Excellent Breakfast. Good service without being 'fussy'. All requests complied with willingly and quickly Air conditioning appeared to be not working and the room was a little 'old fashioned'.

Right on the beach. Great, friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. Would stay there again....best (only) hotel in town. Everything was fine except the bathroom was extremely small and cramped, virtually necessary to get in the shower in order to close the bathroom door.

Musica en directo todas las noches. Atención exquisita por parte del personal. Bufet de desayuno bestial. Baño escaso de limpieza, moqueta hasta dentro de las habitaciones. Llevarse buen repelente de insectos, los mosquitos te deboran.

Gostei do atendimento e da limpeza do quarto, bem como do pequeno almoço que era variado. A proximidade da praia era excelente. Seria conveniente modernizar a decoração do quarto, pois esta é muito antiga e o quarto cheira um pouco a mofo. A televisão está colocada na parede o que dificulta a visão e esta tem uma recepção deficiente.

Sicuramente la posizione, a picco sull'oceano è incantevole. Per il resto la struttura è molto semplice e un po' vecchiotta, I bagni avrebbero bisogno di una sistemata e la colazione è scarsa. Tutto sommato però giudizio positivo.
