Location and the food and the staff......

Spa was a little pricey

I liked the beach front location, easy access to both Vilamoura and Albufeira, 12mins to Vilamoura and 5 mins to Albufeira. Spa is more a water massage and is different to your normal spa but is worth the 15 euro. Breakfast great and champagne included too which is a nice touch. Staff great and very helpful.

Golf transfers were down as included, this is not the case, they only do two times for drop offs, 07:30 and 14:30 and you have to make your own way back.... False advertising. We were given two tickets for spa as compensation which was a delight!

-A very tired 5 star hotel. -Courtesy bus not working Sat/Sun. -Spa faciities and products very poor. Also a 15euros for 1hr in the thalass. Pool. This is not mentioned in any of the literature!. -Food very poor -Location on the beach but down and out of the way. -35Mins from the old Town. -Not value for money so transferred to another Hotel and a big difference in quality. So this time I was very disappointed with Booking.com

Bed was a bit too firm .

Location is perfect, with easy and fast access to St. Eulalia Beach. The landscape from terrace is just beautiful.

The location was second to none. The facilities were also top notch and the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.

Great location, good customer service, liked the shuttle bus into town. Excellent breakfast, fabulous views.

Some extra info on area would have been helpful. Also wasn't sure if restaurant was open in the evenings - unclear.

Staff was courteous, pretty location on a beach that is not private.

This is not a five-star hotel; four at best. The beds were so unbelievably uncomfortable, we tried to check out early, but because we had used booking.com, we were locked into the cost for the entire stay. I do not recommend booking.com because you cannot change a reservation without incurring the cost of the entire stay.

This is my second stay at the Grande Real and once again it excelled. I particularly like the fact that the hotel amenities, the pool & restaurants, plus the beach are all together in one place. Also, the services of pilates & yoga classes included in the package are a real value add for the hotel. The food and standard of service are as usual excellent.

Hotel is located right next to the Beach, just access from the beach. Breakfast is reach and tasty. Nice spa, but you need to book in advance. Overall nice and clean hotel.

Although the lobby is well designed, the rooms and furnitures are outdated and need renovation. TVs are still old fashion, no LCD.

The service desk was slow desite a number of staff hanging around reception they didn't assist with the queue of people wanting to check in. Various things broken in my room or didn't work such as the bin, the remote control and the telephone - definately not the 5* standard the hotel claims to be.

The hotel is very close to Santa Eulalia beach (a public beach). The personnel is nice and friendly.

The pools are not big enough, they are rather small, not suitable for swimming. As the resort is not located in Albufeira, the shuttle bus from the hotel to the city should have a higher frequency and the schedule (departure time) should be also adapted for those who want to spend the evening in Albufeira.

Everything was perfect, nothing to claim.

Personnal at reception could be more friendly.

Many VIP tourists from Russia stayed in the hotel and it is important to me. Very good location and excellent service.

There have been difficulties in measuring my blood pressure, could not find a blood pressure cuff, and none of the nurses, however, I understand that this is a hotel, but do not resort.

This resort exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time and cant wait to go back...

Friendy,knowledgable staff, when asked questions about the area and attractions..shuttle bus service to old town,location,swimming pools,we found one that wasnt crowded.seaview room was fantastic great view of ocean,breakfasts were adequate but same every day we were there for 6 days. At best a 3.5 star if having a spa gives a hotel a 5 star rating the body that does this should look at other things closer before awarding the stars.old s box tvs,not good shower setup,over bath and rail holding shower was loose and shower head had no adjustment and wouldnt stay put. Asked 1st day to be repaired but re mained the same.wifi was free but connection was intermittent the connection in bus.centre was ok..beds were hard and pillows soft both need to be upgraded asked for ice from room service said the cost would be 7.50 euro.that was for the service. Go to bar and it is free these are the reasons plus others why I graded it 3.5 we travel a lot so this in my opinion is pretty accurate.we do know what to expect at 5 star hotels.admittedly this does vary from country to country. N

We enjoyed the location, being so close to the beach and the town nearby. We also enjoyed the very comfortable apartment we had booked, it met with all our expectations. we also enjoyed the very cortious and friendly staff, nothing was too much bother for them. Overall a smashing place to take a holiday.

The staff were very good and always happy to assist or offer help. The hotel was clean and well laid out with good parking facilities. A very good place to stay. Breakfast was also very good.

The staff at Grande Real Santa Eulalia were amazing! They made our trip more comfortable, easier and altogether amazing. They went above and beyond helpful and made us feel incredibly special (extra thanks to Edgar and Ines). Thank you for helping Chase's birthday celebration even more extraordinary. We will definitely visit this beautiful resort again. The grounds are absolutely exquisite and far enough away from the town where you feel secluded/romantic, but close enough for a 6 euro cab fare. Do yourself a favor and stay at this glorious resort! :)

yes but suggest that the carpets be cleaned or replaced in the main building as they were very worn and dirty the staff were excellent, the breakfast was excellent,

Carpets were very dirty and need to be replaced or cleaned. The bathrooms had a bad ordor need to be cleaned and refreshed.
