The staff were really helpful and polite, especially in reception and in the restaurants. The food in the buffet was ok and we liked the choice of the other restaurants. The beach was great. The room that was advertised as resort view was of the car park. The overall standard was not that of a 5 Star hotel - just a 4 star. The Kids club was basic. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and you had to pay for sun beds |

Good location on the beach. Internet signal in our apartment was very weak with the connection being interupted all the time. Very annoying. Some plumbing maintenance was need in kitchenette and bathroom. Pools were very small and very chemical. |

There was a wide ranage of facilities from childrens swimming lessons, pilates, diving lessons and aqua fitness. Beach close to hotel. Friendly staff Food at the buffet was normally luke warm, although I accept it is a buffet, difficult to maintain temp's for the wide ranage of food offerings and wide range of opening times, but it is a five star hotel with five star prices. |

We liked the apartment and especially the complete kitchen set up as we travelled with children. Also the kids club was fantastic, we had to drag our kids out of there every night. The distance from the apartments to the Hotel and the Beach as we stayed in the last corner of the complex. |

It's lovely and quiet, you aren't fighting for sunbeds! The staff are very nice. Good little kitchenette facilities if you have a young family. They left milk and a few bits for us as a welcome pack when we arrived which was a nice touch. Lovely pools. If you have children, the kids club is really fantastic. It's like a private nursery at home, very secure, excellent staff and facilities (and free). Great when you want the kids to get out of the sun for a couple of hours in the afternoon and you want to have a nap in the sun. There is a lovely little beach bar and ice cream parlour looking out over the sea to have lunch (out of the hotel if you walk down to the beach). It's also much cheaper than the restaurants. The beds were just uncomfortable beyond words. I read other reviews and thought people were exaggerating. They weren't. It was so bad we couldn't sleep after a few days. To be fair to the hotel, we have already had a nice email from them saying they have had a few complaints and that they have put better mattresses on the beds already in certain rooms. ASK for one of these rooms if you go! It's nice to see a hotel actually caring about your comments. The only other comment would be the over priced restaurants in the hotel. There was a fish restaurant, where it was about 30 Euro's for a main meal. This was dead in the evening. I wonder why? Better to go the little restaurant on the seafront which opens at 7.00. |

High quality hotel with friendly staff. Very enjoyable. Would recommend to friends and visit again. As we were in a self catering apartment within the complex, a hotel shop for water, milk, bread etc.. would be convenient. |

Very friendly staff, very good spa & wellness, the rooms were cleaned very well, good location, nice kids club, nice beach. A lot of stairs (3 stairs, 5 stairs or 10 stairs) around the hotel and with a buggy it is sometimes very difficult on your own. Some of the hotel restaurants were closed. Most of the time there were only 2 open and one of these was always closed at 7 pm. |

Nice private beach, room was spacious and clean, price seemed reasonable for what we got. Wasn't crowded at all but that's probably because we were early in the year (early May, 2010) Pools were tiny even though there were lots of them- they're all the same- round. Fold out couch was too uncomfortable to sleep on- was very sore the next morning. Second couch was also extremely uncomfortable. Regular beds were so-so for comfort. We only had the brunch buffet and while there was champagne, the food and selection was just OK considering it cost 20 euro. Internet appeared free but was very flaky to the point of being unusable. |

The proximity to the ocean and the view everyday was breathtaking. Breakfast was ample and always refreshed. Staff very attentive to needs. It was a nice place to relax, and also not far from the Old Town or anywhere else in the Algarve for that matter. Complaint no...but Internet was not always working. This can be a good thing if you want to relax though! |

we enjoyed the location and food. we stayed B & B and the choice was superb. Special mention should be made regarding the facilities of the childrens club it was great and very much enjoyed by our 6 year old. The fact that the outdoor pools were not as warm as they could be and also the indoor pool could not be used by under 16year olds. In addition it appeared that the indoor pool was controlled by those running the spa which took preference over the general use of an indoor pool and did not open until 9am each morning. The same is true of the gym which was not open before 9am. |

The location is excelent, the view is wonderful for the beach front, and is garantees privacy. For a 5 Start Hotel I was disappointed as during check-in procedures I was requested for confirmation of a valid visa card, and was not told that a set amount would be blocked from that mentioned card, I was surprised as it shows lack of professionalism towards Customers, and also against the Law, as it is abuse of information. Also very poor on toiletries in the room. |

The location, the staff and the breakfast. Also the swiming pools anf the beach just at the door. The proximity of several great golf courses. The decoration is not of my taste. But, well, it´s just a matter of taste... |
