Location Very noisy, both from the street and inside the hotel. No air-con so could not shut out the street noise. Remote control for TV did not work and receptionist was not interested. |

Nothing, the room was foul, it was dirty, the bathroom had mould growing on the ceiling, the door had a flimsy chain as a lock so anyone could have broken in. did not get the bedroom we booked...ordered a double bed and we were given a room with twin beds! there were flies in the room and both myself and my partner were bitten at least 15times each whislt staying in this hotel. The room was drab and did not look like it had been redecorated in at least 40years. It was horrible and definately not worth the 50euros per night that we paid for. Although the breakfast was ok, it was not enough to compensate for the appauling conditions of the room. A truly awful hotel and I would not recommend this to anyone. Very disappointed. |

Location great as described by fellow reviewers. Friendly, helpful staff. Room decor basic and dated, not lived up to modern reception and bar area but can't fault at the price. |

We got to stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms and the facilities were excellent. The room was cleaned every day and we got new towels every day. The location was excellent, very close to Rossio Square. The Bar and restaurant facilites were also excellent. Would definitley stay here again. |

1.There was too much noise; both in the hotel and in the surrounding area 2. the room was dusty, the carpet on the floor was dirty and allergic, 3. I saw 3 people in the reception desk in different times, they haven sinken their heads in the computer behind the desk and not dealing who entered, who passed, never a goodmorning, never a smiling face... the price and the service balance was terrible, it doesnt worth.. |

Just off the main artery therefore shielded from traffic noise. Location just about perfect with the Gloria 20 yards away. An easy stroll back from some very good restaurants, Largo do Carmo especially. Very good pricing for being in the centre of a magnificent city. As always - location, location, location. Noise from the early morning bin collections, but that is Lisbon and out of control of the hotel. Not much of a price to pay. |

Good location right in the centre of Lisbon , close proximity to all the sights, attractions and airport bus. Rooms are clean. No a/C. Only one useable power outlet in the room. Breakfast basic, poor, disappointing |

The Hotel Lobby was nice and had air-con. And a sit down area. The room was extremely noisy, an external extractor fan kept me awake all night. It was so loud I asked to move rooms for my second night stay. In fairness to the Hotel they accommodated me in this regard. There was a horrible smell throughout the floor the rooms were located on. Furniture was extremely basic and old fashioned. The carpet was worn and dirty. |

The fact that it was central and close to everything we needed on our City break. We did not need to use public transport or taxis. The room was very dark. |

It was cheap and central. The foyer area was well kept and the staff were friendly. The room we had was beside the lift which was very noisy and the 5th floor room was very hot even at the end of september. It is listed as being in Baixa Chiado but is really on the outskirts of this area and at the top of a road where you need to walk past a sex club/peep show. I would not have felt comfortable walking home alone. |

the location was excellent - couldnt be better in fact. We were in the old part that has not been renovated. Full of cigarette burns on the covers, scuffed, faded carpets and no air conditioning. If it were hotter i dont think i could have coped as noisy generator just outside window too!!! |
