Location and staff behaviour
Realy week wifi, too small room, small choice for breakfast
It was clean, pleasent stuff, great location
Lack of employees to help for luggage.
The spacious room and location.
The hotel has a breakfast room that was often very full. There was no bar or restaurant as described on the website. Tea or coffee making facilities would have been good.
Good location and value for money.
No air conditioning during spring months although the temperature was 28C outside! So sleeping became challenging specially when the cleaning people would have loud conversation outside your room. The bathroom is tiny, makes you feel like you're in a cruise ship cabin.
Excellent location during the day, but as it's in a downtown area, it's a bit odd at night.
Fair bit of noise from revellers on the street (Friday/ Saturday nights) - bring ear plugs!
Good location, near to lots of attractions and restaurants, bars etc
central location and accessibility .no fuss.
On two of our five night stay some inconsiderate guests made enough noise in the corridor to wake us up between 12 and 2 in the morning. To be fair to the hotel when I complained, they told us if it happened again, we should phone reception immediately and the night porter would come up and sort it out. Mercilessly, it didn't happen again, so didn't have test the night porter's resolve.
My partner and I liked everything about this hotel. Ok, the room wasn't massive; however, we considered it our base to sleep and shower, so the size didn't matter to us. The small bath/shower room was modern and spotless. Additionally, the room was cleaned and the towels changed every day. Breakfast included a range of cereals, fruit juices, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, bread, meats, cheeses, etc. Walk up the steep hill (if your fit; if not, take the tram) to Barrio Alto. Walk up and down the small cobbled streets there and choose from the dozens of restaurants available! The rest of central Lisbon, all within easy walking distance of the hotel, is equally amazing. Also well worth the effort is walk to the top of Restadores boulevard, cross the busy roundabout and continue up the grassy slope to the fountain at the top. Don't turn around until you reach this point and then take in the breathtaking view back down the way you came. This should take you no longer than 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
Wifi, lady @ reception, view from my room.
The shower was good...
Single lift in the hotel and it broke down the day we were leaving - had to carry 4 pcs of luggage down 5 flights of stiars to the lobby! Hotel location a bit hidden from Metro / train stations
Convenient location to the Metro / train stations and rests. Value for money room package with daily breakfast
I have to say I was really impressed with this hotel. The location is great. The staff were very helpful. It was a really enjoyable stay & will definitely stay again
The only minor quibble was that the WiFi didn't really work in the rooms.
The location is excellent, staff friendly and the price very good.
can be noisy at night - no view
Nice buffet breakfast - pleasant room and bathroom - good shower - plenty of wardrobe space for short stay.
It was very noisy, we could not sleep the hole night!!!
Room was very loud from inside noise and street noise from people in the night. Breakfast Quality bad, better to go to a normal cafe-bar.
Location good near Rossio and Restauradores.
This hotel is perfect for a short stay in Lisbon, where you only want a clean room at a reasonable price, and good location. Friendly personel, and OK breakfast.
Bed was horrible and we asked for another one but they didn't have different kind of beds. Last two days there were small ants in the bathroom and finally those little creatures found their way into other parts of our room.
Location, price, room was quiet enough, friendly staff. Breakfast was ok too
During the second night, there was a cockroach crawling on my face and crawled on my face. I don't know if the cockroach was from the hotel inside or from outside the window. This made my stay with a horrible memory despite the price and location.
Price, location and friendly staff
Location and staff good behaviour
Renewed but didn't feel a cozy place to relax. No WiFi as advertised. No info in the room in regards to breakfast, handy phone numbers in case of need, WiFi, etc. Pretty loud when they collect the garbage in the very early morning (our room was facing the street).
Very clean, friendly staff, central location, big room.
Wifi was only available in the breakfast room
This hotel in a very central location is good value for the money paid. No complaints. Nice young lady receptionist
Easiness of the hotel and staff,if you asked a question, you got a polite and informative answer, hit the spot for us,and what great value and location
Noise from tram and nightclub leavers
it took a long time to find the reservation and to check in
quiet, central, convenient for public transport, very good breakfast, helpful staff with fluent English.
