Ann excellent well appointed hotel, good facilitiies and good elevated view of town and surrounds.

Restaurant did not open until 7.30 pm - but this is Portugal

The location of the hotel on top of the hill and it's scenery is beautiful. The staff is really polite. During our stay WLAN access was free of charge, commendable!

The coffee at breakfast was horrible - it is mandatory to order fresh made galao, bica or similar. Compared with other Tryp hotels in other cities the value for money of this location is low. Before booking this hotel on hotel platforms like booking.com, you should ask directly at the hotel for campaigns - that would have saved us (3 persons) around 40€ for a single night incl. dinner. The city Castelo Branco is not really interesting - so plan to stay in the hotel and compare prices

Nice rooms. Nice restaurant.

Our air conditioning did not work. At night our room was hot and very uncomfortable. We called the front desk and had to move rooms in our pajamas! They placed us across the hall to sleep so we could dash back to our room in the morning. The staff was very sorry, however, we did not even receive a 10 percent discount or a cup of coffee for it!

We stayed at Tryp on our way to and from the Algarve in Portugal. On both occasions the hotel was excellent. The resteraunt had a good sellection for the children, and they made us feel very welcome. The hotel has seccure parking at no extra charge and is well situated close to the motorway. We will be using this hotel again.

The hotel is simply amazing. Great view, staff is always available, friendly. I will stay there again if I made my way there once more.

Delighted - this hotel was perfect for us I every way - we loved it so much and cant wait until we go again - special thanks to the lady on reception who arranged a taxi to take us to Lisbon Airport as we were unable to get a hire car. We were on business/pleasure and the food was great and the the pool was lovely our room was very big and clean, most of the staff could speak some English so that was good too as we dont speak Portuguese.thanks

The Hotel was great. We are a family of four with two teenagers. The pool and leisure facilities are good. It is easy to find as it dominates the surrounding with its position on top of the hill. The view both day and night is superb. The hotel is very open and has lots of space. The rooms are large and the whole place is looked after very well. The staff were very helpful. Great value for money.!

There were no hot drink facilities in the room.

O que mais gostei neste hotel foram os promenores no quarto, os quais realçam um esmerado acolhimento e que agradam ao cliente, independentemente de querer ou não de usufruir de todos os "requintes" colocados á sua disposição. Das dezenas de hoteis, de Norte a Sul do país, incluindo Açores e Madeira, e ainda Espanha e Itália, pelos quais até hoje passei, apráz-me registar a magnífica qualidade do serviço apresentado e o atendimento dispensado por todo o pessoal com quem cotactámos.
