breakfast, Wi-Fi, souvenir shop, resting area all well great. staff was nice.
view from the window, swimming pool were not up to the mark
Wi-Fi was excellent. breakfast was also very good. the souvenir shop in the hotel is also cheaper then the market.
- stuff was helpful - we got a pretty good price from booking, so at least it was cheap
- the swimming pool was quite dirty, not well taken care of - the hotel was quite far from the center, although in the description it looked otherwise. We had to take a metro and then change it, to get to the center. - the rooms have old furniture, not really 3 stars looking, the view is quite poor - over a railway station, therefore a bit noisy too - I had problems with the payment as well. They preauthorize the card before arrival, and then are supposed to unblock the money once you pay. Somehow, I ended up having my money blocked 3 times (payment + 2 other identical pending transactions), and took about 2 weeks to get the money back..
Nada para destacar
Staff was extremely helpful, good rooms
Lift with no lights on buttons )))
The place was ok. It'd worn but bearable would br ok got a fee dats. Rooms not thst nig. Notjing d ancy. Breakfast was pretty good.
Pool and parking
Nice clean room, 24 hour reception, good price
Far from city center but near from metro, double bedroom is only from 1st to 3rd floors and it is not written anywhere. If you want prefer high floors request a twin room with joint beds.
they clean the rooms every day, and did it good
staff(Dont pay attention to guests, not kind people) Wifi internet bad tv system very bad, it was impossibe to see the main tv channels noise from the train
The pool, the shower, the bed and TV where great
Maybe waiting for the lift when a coach full of tourists arrive. Otherwise I prefer using the stairs
For me it was a perfect location, close to the metro, close to the University. Good price.
The hotel is getting "used", but I really was only there to sleep.
easy access to the airport and to the center, excellent relation price-quality.
the pool could open earlier in the morning
Everything was OK
The cleaning service was impeccable, done daily. The area was peaceful, at maximum 5 minutes walk from public transport (both underground and bus), easy to get to the city centre. Staff was nice and helpful. The hotel's restaurant offers nice meals at fair prices. Very good value for money.
The pool was smaller then expected and only 1.2m deep. The furniture in the room was a bit old.
helpful staff, clean rooms, good location near the subway and railway station, the possibility to use the computer at the lobby and to leave our luggage
the air conditioning wasn't working, and the one elevator that worked, seemed to come and go more at its one will, so I preferred to take the stairs. it is also quite noisy, although during the night the railway and airport noise ceased, so it was possible to sleep with the open window
I like, the services provided, the main infrastructures which are reliable and small details, like giving the guests really useful things like paper tissues, and bottles of water, sparkling and the others, this being probably not so common in 3 stars, from my point of view. It seems very well managed and one feels safe, because its owner and family, apparently, make from this hotel their" kind of daily home", giving a good example to the guests by their, discreet, daily presence, even though they possess other hotels of higher standards. It´s a multicultural hotel where every race and creed seem to be respected. The swimming-pool, is a simple spot, but with an amazing solar position. I have been frequent guest because of all this. I like the personnel where I point out helpful Hugo Pires, recently at service and Almerinda Mendonça from the cleaning staff.although everyone is really helpful, even when it is very busy. Spacious rooms with good solar position.
Control of food amount during meals at restaurant, it happened once, when I asked to eat the rest of the dessert apple pie, after finishing dinner, in the room. I am the type of person that usually, when taking something, always asks to take it, and it is mainly, because of health reasons, while ahead rushing for work the other day, and being exhausted to go out of the hotel The other situation happened when I entered the breakfast lounge, and I asked to take 2 croissants out to work, having eaten nothing with breakfast paid, since I had not had time to eat any thing, before a national exam where I was a teacher surveiller and a lady came saying I coudn´t, I explained I had eaten nothing and then she followed me as if I were a criminal, it was unpleasant, but I was allowed to take them, which saved me in this long lasting exam, I suppose people have been abusing and this control is happening in many other hotels as well, which I had never realised, since I do it only in reasons as the abv mentioned. It may be understandable controlling food budgets that way, because of recent exaggerated habits of tourists.
30 minutes walk to city centre a lot of parking places for a car (city charges) good wi-fi
near to airport and train station, so it's noisy with open windows
Good value for what we paid.
If you want to spend time in the city centre you will use a lot of time commuting (unless you use cab service). Hotel is a bit rundown but we were prepared for that
Comfortable, quiet and good value. Well positioned near to travel links.
Fruit juice and coffee at breakfast aren't very nice. Breakfast rather expensive by comparison with local cafés, which can make fresh coffee and fruit juice.
never seen the pool been cleaned my son gave up using it we went to estoril beach and visited the lido hotel where we often stayed in the past but had no vacancies to suit our trip this time they kindly let us use their facilities also my wife got me some boiling water in the dinning hall and was told she could not remove it from the dinning hall she was so imbarrased as this happened in front of other guests
Nothing. A part from the barman and the maid, the staff was not hospitable.
Everything. Hotel is old, noisy and staff does not make you feel welcome.
Contemporary decor and pool.
