Hotel Imperador  

this is a nice hotel and excellent value for money. my single room in low season cost just 40euro with breakfast.There Is no WiFi in the rooms but Free in the public areas downstairs. In winter they have several cork oak wood fires Burning which adds a cosy feeling. The rooms are functional but pleasant enough with perfectly adequate bathrooms. There is satelite TV in the rooms in various languages. This is not a romantic hotel, but an excellent base for business or tourists on a budget who want to visit Estremoz and surrounding areas. Transport, however, is necessary. There is also a restaurant. Breakfast is basic, but acceptable; what do you expect for 40euro ?

I got what I paid for, and what I expected. No issues or complaints.

Although is right next to the en4 (the road), the rooms are silent and the a/c works. Good value for money

Roomy hotel ,with pleasant helpful staff, would stay again if I was to pass through.

Location was great - just off autostrada but you couldn't hear noise. Breakfast was acceptable. My room had a balcony overlooking vineyards. Plenty of parking with fruit trees all over property. Restaurant was excellent but didn't offer inexpensive options - meal for just me cost 18 euros.

There is a lot that needs to be done here - the ambience of the place is fantastic. The lobby and the downstairs rooms are great and gives you a nice feeling but once you get upstairs into the rooms, things are different! The carpetting in the room was pretty nasty and the bathrooms didn't look so good. Never once did I put my bare foot down in the room or bathroom, thank God I had shower shoes - god knows what I would have caught! Also the a/c did not work properly instead of a/c I really had a fan blowing around air. All they have to do is pull out all the carpeting and replace with laminate or tiles (that would be in keeping with the ambience of the place) and a better a/c system needs to put in. In the Alentejo, you need air conditioning in the summer! Its a shame the owner does not see what a gem he has there if only he would invest a little money and fix it up. For the condition of the room & a/c, the price was too expensive.

The staff and ambience were very welcoming- huge log fires and friendly service. We had dinner and it was good honest food, plenty of it, very tasty and great value. Rooms were spotlessly clean, if slightly tired, but adeqately equipped and there was loads of hot water.

In common with most European hotels, there was no "hospitality tray" (tea/coffee making facility) in the room.

Gostei muito de estar no Hotel Imperador. é uma boa opção para quem visite a região e óptimo para descansar.

Internet Wireless grátis, embora lenta.

Mau aspecto exterior do hotel e zona envolvente. Falta de manutencão. Ruido do ar condicionado durante toda a noite, mesmo desligado. Péssima relação preço/qualidade.

Espaço amplo, ambiente confortável e prático.

Necessidade de usar o carro para ir para o centro da cidade de Estremoz.

O Hotel Imperador está bem situado, à beira da a6 e muito perto de Estremoz. Ouvem-se os passarinhos e o ar campestre é excelente.

Não ter Internet nos quartos, nem ligação à Sic Notícias nem à tvi24.

A relação qualidade preço foi muito boa. Apesar de ser um hotel mais antigo, está bem conservado e é bastante cómodo. A localização é num sítio recatado, proporcionando um bom descanso a quem o procura.

A sonorização podia ser melhor. Os funcionários, apesar de serem prestáveis, podiam ser mais simpáticos.
