The staff were superb. Friendly, helpful and all spoke perfect English which helped that I spoke little / no Portuguese! Room was great as well.
Only one downside was that the air con heating in the room didn't work
Staff are fantastic and very helpful. The rooms are cleaned to perfection everyday, the location is perfect takes only 15 minutes to get to the heart of the city by foot or a 5 euro taxi fare, overall this hotel has very little faults.
the mini bar prices are a disgrace and the price of breakfast is just way over the top,the price for drinks in the bar is also far to much, im not sure if there is much point of making this point as im sure the hotel are aware of this. small box of pringles is 8.50 and a bar of chocolate is 10 euro
Spacious room, good bed, clean and tidy bathroom
Very cold room, even after many phone calls some man fixed aircondition in my room without success and for 2 nights I had very cold room.
Everything was élégant
The whole experience was well worth the trip from Australia at the start of our cruise to Rio.
From the first greeting by the hotel concierge to the farewell, our 5 x day stay at the InterContinental Hotel Lisbon was simply excellent. The location of the hotel is first class and we had upgraded to an Exec Room with river view which was really worth it. The room was serviced twice daily and kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Wishing to move around Lisbon with their transportation there is a Metro station (Parque) just across the park opposite the hotel with a pleasant 10 minutes to get there. We used the restaurant on 3 x nights and served with excellent food by very pleasant staff who are keen to help and make conversation. We were even warmly greeted twice by the Director of Food & Beverage (Alvaro Acebal) which is testament to the way the staff want you to experience the best of your stay. He also arranged a later check out on our departure to the airport. We only scratched the surface of Lisbon with 5 x days but will definitely return and without question to this hotel.

- Excellent hotel! - Extremely comfortable room - Breakfast expensive, but the hotel offers a cheaper option called "continental breakfast" for 10 EUR. - It´s not located in downtown, but the location is pretty good. It´s in front of Eduardo VII park and there´s subway station near. The "Sao Sebastião" station is located inside El Corte Ingles and you only need to walk 10 minutes down the street to reach the hotel. - El Corte Ingles is near the hotel. - Wonderful staff.
- WI-fi needs to improve, not so good.
Every room appears to be a corner room the way the hotel is constructed. The lobby is decorated with stunning flower displays. All service people went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.
Prices at the main restaurant were quite high. We were charged 5 Euros for water without being informed. Lunch or dinner were very good at the bar.
It was a Great place to relax after a cruise with the windstar before heading back home to Canada ! Thanks for everything!!!!!
As in all of Europe we found the prices of food and beverages higher than in the us and Canada

Room furnishings and carpets are tired and need updating.
There was a problem getting our mini suite by the promised time, and after having waited 5 hours for a room, we were upgraded to the Presidential Suite. It was a nice gesture and we enjoyed it's use. It truly did make up for small inconveniences during the changeover.
Cleanliness was so la la / our room was not vacuumed and things were very very dusty. Room Service was unorganised. Staff let themselves into our suite while we were entertaining some of my clients. It was simply to change something on the phones. I found that inappropriate; even thought the man was polite.

Room full of everything you would expect from a luxury hotel. Recent change of name from the Tiara to the Intercontinental threw a few taxi drivers so mention both!! Staff from front office to restaurant and bar staff, especially Michael, charming and helpful.

Pet fee per night cost 40 Euro. The noise of electric dril from the renovation started at 9:30 in the morning. It sounded as if they had been working in our own room. We had flew in from the States on the previous night and were very tired. Requested a quiet room. I called at the front desk, and the staff (young man) was rude and arrogant. He did nothing to improve the situation and the noise continued. On the night, I called at the front and asked them not to make that noise in the morning. The staff told me that the noise never started before 11 am. The next morning, it started at 10 a.m. Simply this hotel does not care about their guests' comfort or well being.
All was great and we enjoyed stay +advise from bar tender re the premium port to drink and buy. We did follow up on his advise when travelling to Porto.
