Everything about the hotel was perfect, location, food, staff and the room, a super bed even the pillows were perfect
Perfect location, helpful staff, hearty breakfast
A bit pricey
Travelled to see a concert in Oporto, Lovely hotel , Good rooms, excellent location, wonderful city and the concierge was brilliant, giving us tips on plenty of places for food, and places to go & visit and advice on the wonderful port houses.
everything. A very comfortable hotel in every respect.
The location is close to everything. The staff is well trained and eager to help. Good English standard.
The blanket they offered was too thick for end nov weather. On request they made changes the next day.
Excellent localisation, good quality of services, good design
Hospitality was nice .
Car parking was expensive
poor performance of house keeping team: towels were not changed, bath amenities as well - delivered them though after a reprimand
The location to everything was fantastic..as a solo traveller it was great? I was in a delux room...the little treats on arriving home Truffles one day and A bottle of the local Port and some traditional Pastel de Nata's the next..a very nice touch.
The cost of breakfast was high, but with coffee in your room and a fridge it was not not a real issue.
The location is great. The rooms are very big and offer the comfort you expect in a house of this class.
Our room which overlooked the square - large, comfortable and great view. Room service food was first class as was breakfast
Size of the room and bathroom. Size and comfort of bed
A beautiful hotel with a welcoming, efficient, helpful and very pleasant staff. The ideal location for easy walking in all directions around Porto. Wonderful breakfast served. Lovely guest room. Nice bar. We did not use the business center, spa, fitness center.
Staff was great and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent . It was great.
Room was wonderful but could use more light
Very clean and staffs are very good
Location and a superb young guy at concierge
Room wasn't ready Air con very noisy Bathroom wasn't that clean Common areas very tired No nice lounge area Breakfast was very poor as we were near the end and very little choice Place is gebnerally very tired
Location and facilities.
-- Hotel was very central to the city -- Metro station for airport close by -- Excellent hotel, staff and decor -- River and restaurants only a short walk away
It was comfortable, plenty of space, very kind and helpful staff. Ideal for every excursion, we walked everywhere.
The trumpet player in the square opposite. He needs to practice for years before being allowed out. Not however the hotels fault, but his noise during the day was incessant.
All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had a great night's rest once we had the bedding sorted out. The beds very comfortable. Nice shower, good room facilities (including a kettle etc) and overall the amount of space was ok. Good soundproofing on the windows. Nice choice of fruit & pastries at breakfast.
The room was a little gloomy and one of the side-lights did not work. It was awkward to control the lighting in the bathroom, it seemed to be linked to the lighting in part of the main room. It was also impossible to control the lighting over the bathroom mirror separately. The Wifi was patchy. The bedding: We had to remove rubber under sheets which were extremely hot. I was surprised at this in a hotel of this standard. We also had to request lighter bed-covering and then make up the beds ourselves. Again, very surprising and inconvenient. There was only one luggage rack so the floor was rather cluttered. One of the curtains did not draw back as the curtain cord was jammed. No mini-bar price list supplied. The coffee on offer at breakfast was utterly tasteless and there was no muesli.
Location and room facilities
Very helpful staff but could do with more training
All the staff at the Palacio das Cardosas are first class - helpful, friendly, and highly professional. The standard of service is very high. The hotel itself is an elegant building in the heart of Porto, close to the metro, and the old town. Should work take me to Porto again, I will undoubtedly stay at the Palacio das Cardosas.
Perfect location in the historical center of the city, 10-minute walk to the major places. Clean, cosy, large rooms. Сoncierge service is very kind, friendly and efficient. There is a well functional fitness center which is open 24 hours.
Breakfast is pretty boring for this kind of hotel (but fortunately we came not for breakfasts and we were happy :) ).
Perfect location to visit Porto Extremely friendly staff Superb rooms, full comfort Very high class hotel
Nothing, everything was perfect
