So happy with my stay. The staff were lovely. The hotel was beautiful and clean! Room cleaned everyday. Definitely coming back!
Bike hire available. Roof pool area has fantastic view and great place to chill out 15 floors up overlooking Porto. Pleasant staff Excellent breakfast
Bit out centre, but who cares as such a good hotel
Beautiful and relaxing lounge area.very spacious with friendly helpful staff. Has a roof top pool which on a good day would be amazing. Large open plan room with bathtub to die for. You could relax with your G and T and watch the tele. Breakfast was great with huge selection
Staff at reception not particularly friendly. We're not made to feel we,come.
good value for money
even with free wifi: no access in room possible too far from porto centre
Hotel is maybe not very bad, large rooms, quite good breakfast, secure parking, free but barely working wifi. Reception staff was ok, trying to be helpful. Nice fitness and squash court. Top level pool also could be nice, but it is very small and open - it was too cold at the time.
First, this is huge hotel. Feels like train station during breakfast. Not all things are replenished, sometimes you have to wait even for coffee. Another thing is location, which is not only far from anything, with limited commuting options. There is also a problem of neighbourhood, not much choice of restaurants, beggers on the street even in the front of hotel.
Beautiful lobby, comfortable and clean rooms, fantastic roof deck pool and bar with amazing views, and delicious breakfast. Great location.
Everything going on next room was heard and when other room shower was on you could hear it so loud that you can't sleep
Very nice hotel, good for a 4 star, location close to bus station, very nice view from the pool, excellent brakfast, friendly staff, Porto is a great city!
I found the hotel to be exceptional In all areas, location, staff, rooms, I will stay again and recommend friends as well Warm Regards Terry Levesque
Unpleasant in the entrance. Feels unsafe because of the many beggars.
No ironing facilities.
The location between the city and the sea is perfect. The service and friendlyness of the staff is outstanding and an example for any other larger hotel. Highly recommended hotel for both leisure and business travel
Sun area and Pool, not many in Porto. The set lunch for it's value and variety 10.5. € four courses.
Taxi required into town, though it can br walked, best to stay in town for the tourist bit, but then taxis are cheap..
Nice rooftop bar with a young crowd.
The hotel is in a poor location. Beggars in the street outside. Lots of empty shops and houses. No restaurants within walking distance. Far away from old city.
Everything was ok. Best thing about this hotel is beds!!! Slept like in heaven!! Mattress was just excellent!
Staff wasnt very friendly and smiley. Also between each other spoken they own language what makes us feel uncomfortable. Not very helpull and we felt like they were treating people by their looks.
Breakfast is fantastic and only costs 5 euro. Felt very welcome every morning due to the host lady at the door. Rooftop loundge/pool bar is very nice.
Standard room is very old and definatelly not a 5 start quality. Superior room is better value for the money. Rooftop bar belongs to an external company and only excepts cash, no card.
the pool, the breakfast, the room
the neighborhood of the hotel at night
No sound isolation, at 11th floor it was impossible to sleep until 02:00- 02:30 am, because the music from top roof bar was loud and clear. Room walls are thin as well, next door neighbours normal level talking can be heard. Hotel staff is acting dumbs, telling that "ok, ok, sir, I just called up there and the party is now over". After 30 minutes: "Yes, yes, yes sir, the party will be over soon". &Quot;yes, yes, yes, sir, they said it will be quiet". - !!!Avoid floors from 9th-14th!!! Breakfast - long long lines, long lines. Parking - you have two options there. Using hotel garage (11 euros per day) or parking at street. When using hotel garage you should be warned that every time you want to drive out from garage you have to wait the line behind checkin desk (~10-30 minutes) for parking card "validation". Parking on street is free of charge*. Porto is full of beggars who are "organising" street parking (for fee). Including in front of HF Ipanema Park. Hotel is very outdated. Sometimes smoking smell is coming to room via their ventilation system. Don't recommend. Many better options in Porto.
The hotel isn't in the centre of Porto but a bus stop just over the road and €1.85 and it's easy enough. A taxi is €7-10 including tip. Breakfast at the hotel is excellent value and very plentiful with all choices covered. Bar food is good and prices very reasonable. The only thing I really disliked was the hotel car park fees. By making these more reasonable would mean that instead of trying to avoid the fee (due to the price) and running the gauntlet of constant beggars and vagrants near or on the hotel forecourt drivers would drive straight into the hotel car park. A simple validation would ensure it was free for guests. The beggars outside only impact the hotel guests and nobody else. Apart from this one problem (with an easy remedy) I would recommend this hotel.
The beggars on and around the forecourt. With more reasonable (or better still free for guests) parking fees it would drive the beggars away because you would drive directly into the car park
Luxurious hotel. Taxis are available just outside the door. Very professional reception. Check out was flexible until 1pm which was a real plus as we were coming from a late wedding.
Breakfast was not included :(
Enjoyed the stay but needed a shirt ironed. No iron in rooms, very expensive to get done and with a substantial delay. Couldn't come here on business or recommend to business travellers. Travel often with work and this was very poor.
We were very glad with everything! Strongly reccomend this hotel.
good food friendly staff
