Hotel Jorge V

The price is acceptable and it's quiet around.

The hotel is very old, and we can tell it from the facilities in the room.

Very convenient central location from which to explore the beautiful city of Lisbon. This is our third stay at Jorge V and we will book again.

Would have preferred the hairdryer away from the sink in the bathroom, preferably in the bedroom but certainly away from water.

Excellent location, helpful staff and a great location. Rooms a little small but great value for the rates.

The hotel was centrally/conveniently located for my purposes(I was attneding a business event). The air-con was good, and the room had a mini-bar. The service was quite friendly.

My room definitely needed renovation, and the thick floor-to-wall carpeting is not good for guests with dust allergies. The shower basin was tiny, and there was no hand shower unit. The breakfast was pretty lousy, and the boiled eggs were over-cooked, the fried eggs were burnt, and the scrambled eggs were very fatty. The fresh bread was the only positive point.

The hotel was very central and was close to the main tourist attractions. Bus & Metro were close by.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bed was a nice double. The breakfast was pretty adequate. It is situated on the main avenue of Lisbon, at a short distance from the central attractions. It also has 2 metro stations very nearby, though I prefer a nice strall along the avenue.

The water and power outlets are rather old and in need of an upgrade

Location was very good. Breakfasts (included in price) were outstanding. Logistically, flow of guests into breakfast room, would be enhanced by posting a sign advising guests to wait to be seated.

Rooms at back of hotel have poor views.

It is a great hotel,in a great location!

Everything, except the price of internet access on their single, lobby computer

Internet access is charged at 0.35 cent a minute in hotel lobby. This is extremely expensive. Local internet cafes charge about 2.50 Euro per hour in Lisbon

The parking was really easy right in front of the hotel and the hotel was only a 10 minute walk from the main area-very friendly and helpful staff

The room was very basic and dated with 70's style carpet and the toilet was in such a position in the small bathroom that you could not even sit on it properly as it was so close to the wall!

Very pleasant staff of the hotel and a value for money, room is of adequate size and well furnished

I would recommend somewhat wider choice of TV channels, especially those concerning news.
