Hotel Jupiter  

The Hotel Jupiter was fantastic. The staff are so friendly and helpful and it is such a beautiful hotel. I couldn't believe how much value for money it is. It's location was excellent too with it overlooking the beach and it is only yards from the other bars and restaurants in the area. We have decided that we are definitely going to go back for another visit sometime.

The only thing that I didn't like about the hotel was it's hot breakfast food. The sausages were tiny and tasteless. The bacon was thin and weak and looked like each strip had been run through a shredder. If you are the kind of person who enjoys a nice hot fry for their breakfast when on their holidays, then you'll be disappointed. However, you can still get a decent continental breakfast with breakfast cereal and toast if that's what you'd prefer.

location with sea view is exceptional. location is one hour drive from faro airport with free parking.the beach is just minutes away. with all facilities including food outlets. the streets are old world with cobbles and plenty of old world charm. will go back again and again.

it affords guests plenty of space on ground floor with poolside view .the foyer area is splendid with marble floors throughout. lifts to all floors. the spa is lovely and all treatments are reasonably priced and lovely staff with good english language skills. breakfast had plenty of choice [i am dairy intolerent so yogurts/cheese are out] and the bread had plenty of variety to choose from. the fresh fruuits and juices were lovely.the balcony in my room was spacious with table and chairs[two] for early morning wake up! overall a very relaxing experience.

better variety for breakfast when you are staying for the week gets boring resturant is not as good as it was a few years ago need to improve menu and variety.

Staff friendly, service good, room really kept clean. It was central to shopping and beach.

I probably say the breakfast in the morning was just ok. I asked for baguette one morning because that is all I ate and one waiter got it for me but asked again and I was told no

The staff are 5 stars, the room rate is good value for your money. The view (sea view) is superb, just in front of Praia da Rocha! Called at almost 5 a.m. requesting Breakfast in bed at 11 a.m. and for a small fee (2.50 euros, I think) they took it to my bedroom. Excellent Breakfast in bed for 2!

The dinner. I've already eaten in Hotel Jupiter and didn't like it at all. The fish was frozen (grilled Tuna), Hubby's meat portion was too little for any man or women. I have to say that I was very disappointed with the restaurant. This is the only negative that I can remember. Except that I went with Half board and on booking it didn't say dinner or lunch. I thought it would be lunch, as usual. But it was dinner. Not usual, I would say. Everything else was superb.

We booked a land view but were upgraded to a sea view at no extra charge. We found all the staff very helpful and friendly.

Excellent service, very kind and friendly staff. The spa was really great!

Stayed there last year and were very satisfied. Excellent friendly staff. Was put in a sea view room although only paid for land view.Superb choice of food at breakfast.Car parking was made available at no extra charge
