The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
During the summer months (June to September), clients have free access to the Hotel's Beach Club, at Alvor Beach, having the right to free use of beach towels, sunbeds and sunshades.
From June to September the hotel has a free shuttle bus that transports clients to and from Alvor beach.
The spacious Sagres Restaurant, freshened by the Algarve breeze and sunlight, rouses ones appetite with an extravagant breakfast and superb buffet dinners.
Le Grill Restaurant offers the opportunity to enjoy a memorable and romantic dinner. Alternatively, you could spend a casual evening sampling pasta and Italian specialities at the seasonal L’Arlecchino Restaurant.
For those who prefer light meals, there is the Sir Henry Cotton Club, where you can relax whilst watching sports on the large screen.
A short distance from the hotel, at Alvor Beach, you will find the reserved area for clients with comfortable sun loungers and other amenities. Treat yourself to summer dishes whilst looking out at the sea in the Dunas Restaurant, where the inspiring Atlantic Ocean sunset is breathtaking.
Monchique Bar is the ideal place to spend time relaxing with a drink while enjoying mild music or a pleasant conversation.
Individual reservations:
Credit card and identification documents will always be requested upon check-in as a guarantee. Clients that are not credit card holders will have to leave a 25% deposit.
Group Reservations:
For reservations of 10 or more rooms, payment conditions are as follows:
- 10% payment of the total reservation cost must be made to the hotel at the time of booking;
- The remaining 90% must be paid 7 days prior to groups arrival.
The hotel has a specific group (+10 rooms) cancellation policy, that will be informed at time of booking.
Clients departing prior to booked departure date will be charged the complete stay

Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, almost old fashioned approach. Hotel is spacious and very comfortable, good facilities for sport etc. Good parking. Its a comment not a dislike, Hotel is out of town so need car or taxis. |

Gostaria também de informar, que no quarto 320, durante o período de horário de pequeno almoço, sente-se um odor de fritos na conduta de ar condicionado. Talvez por se situar por cima da sala. |

La tranquilidad de la habitación, ningún ruido. Muy cómodo: como dormir entre nubes (almohadas, colchón y edredón). Excelente desayuno. Vistas a la piscina y campo de golf. Repetiré. La ausencia de explicaciones sobre cómo llegar. Al menos la indicación de "Montes de Alvor" hubiese bastado (no viajamos con GPS). Todo lo demás, excelente. |

Os funcionários são atenciosos e o hotel tem um ambiente aconchegante, tranquilo. As instalações do hotel na praia são ruins, o transporte de hóspedes para a praia tem horários muito limitados e não apropriados para crianças. E a sede do hotel oferece pouca estrutura para bebês. |

Do seu enquadramento junto de um campo de golfe, do upgrade do quarto para estúdio que fizeram no momento da nossa chegada, da piscina e da diversidade do pequeno-almoço completo. Os preços que são praticados nos produtos de consumo fora do quarto, nos bares e restaurantes. Não correspondem preço-qualidade. O simples facto de numa terra com tantas laranjeiras não nos servirem sumo de laranja totalmente natural e se fazerem pagar por tal acho inadmissível para um hotel de 5 estrelas. |

As instalações do hotel e dos equipamentos existentes são de boa qualidade. É indamissível o barulho provocado pelas portas dos quartos ao fecharem pelo facto de não terem isolamento adequado. Já tinha alertado para este aspecto em anteriores estadias. A qualidade e experiência de alguns funcionários ( contratados no exterior ) deixa muito a desejar. Impensável num hotel com o prestígio da Penina. |
