The location was wonderful and the staff was so responsive.
Had to login to wifi every time
Breakfast was good.
Staff, with few exceptions, could be more pleasant. We had problem with shower door which malfunctioned as apparently could just open inwards- much too delicate! To be fair we then got little reduction in price but this hotel is much overpriced as it is! For what we paid I would have expected a much bigger room.
The room had the right luxuries...great bed, good plumbing, modern windows to open for air or shut for sound. The service was excellent. They even offered a packed breakfast for the morning we left.
The square below was a busy place on a warm evening...but then the live music was so great we ended up enjoying that too.
The room is too small.
Room very comfortable and had the views we wanted (top floor). Free drink on arrival and breakfast included.
I love the staff. Helpful
The shower was not good.
The hotel has a great location; is a gem hidden in the Carmo (bettwen the Chiado and Bairro Alto). It is walking distance to most sights and it has shops, services and restauraunts close by. The rooms are very lovely and comfortable with surprisingly good views. They are also comfortable if not necessarily super quiet. The staff is the highlight, as they are always willing to help in any way they can and are absolutely lovely. That goes as well to the staff of the great restaurant on site - Maria do Carmo. It was a great discovery, one I intend to return often when in Lisbon.
Central situated, but still calm area. Very nice square next to the hotel.
Friendliest staff anywhere. We arrived six hours ahead of check in after 28 hours of travel. They offered us breakfast while we waited for a room to be ready for much needed sleep. Throughout our three day stay, all staff anticipated our needs, made suggestions and went out of their way. We felt like family. In fact, when we left, a waiter we had been friendly with came curbside to say good bye and gave a warm hug. Where would you get that kind of treatment? Will never forget it. Rooms are very nice, clean, and spacious for this range of price. Will definitely look forward to a return stay and telling others to go there.
Cannot think of a single thing. The owner should be proud and keep up the magic formula. We were under the impression that some of the help were long term trainees getting a degree of some sort. How fabulous. Ray and Cheryl, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
The hotel is just great value for the money considering location and amenities. The staff however is what really gives the hotel a top score. They really take care of you and make you feel a welcome guest in the hotel and Lisbon.
The staff was great. Made us feel comfortable even with our language barrier. Have already booked another stay
The shower splashed outside the tub excessively
The hotel was in a superb location, close to all the centers of Lisbon, right next to a small piazza with resturants and live music in the evenings. We came with our little baby and asked the staff to get a kettle, to boil the baby's buttles. We got one very fast. The room was very clean and the shower and bed were pampering.
I would think the price was enough to include breakfast but it didn't (so we skipped it and ate outside). Other than that everything was great.
It had a bad persistent smell
Lovely hotel and restaurant in a good location.
Didn't like the shower in the bedroom.
Pleasant staff. Good-sized room with modern furnishings. Everything was perfectly clean. Good location with easy access to city centre but away from noise and bustle.
The friendly staff, the good bar and the breakfast was excellent
The location - well placed to explore historic Lisbon on foot The staff- welcoming and delivering extremely good service in an understated fashion Breakfast - a wide selection The decor
Noise from traffic but this is beyond the hotel's control
- The hotel is at a very central location, a lot of shops / restaurants are in walking distance - The rooms are isolated very well, therefore it is very quiet (even during the day and even at lower floors) - The receptionists are very nice and competent and help with all kinds of requests - Breakfast was excellent! Big choice with a lot of fresh fruits / juices / sweets...
- nothing, our stay at this hotel was perfect
The room. People were very friendly and helpful.
Imconvenient to load and unload. Bad restaurant.
The hotel is very well located near transportation. Staff is outstanding and extremely helpful. Free parking is rare for a city hotel and it is underground. Highly recommend.
The hotel is located in the Bairro Alto area, right next to many hip and trendy shops and restaurants. It is 10 minutes away from many tourist spots. The rooms were reasonably furnished, the staff were helpful and friendly and there was a variety of food at breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and I would definitely recommend it to future visitors of Lisbon.
There might be a bit of noise downstairs at night, but there is always the option of closing the windows and turning on the air conditioner.
the exceptional service from the receptionists, they went far beyond the call of duty to make our stay very special. would certainly recommend this lovely hotel.
Cleanliness and staff courteous and efficient
Wifi Slow and always having to sign on
Location and room perfect.
the location is excellent, lucky if you can get the balcony facing the small square. the room is nicely decorated.
the bed is a bit soft.
