Now here is a little gem of a hotel tucked away in a quiet location but so near the action. Very client friendly with reception staff who are really attentive, nothing too much trouble and full of information - just ask! Breakfast very good with all the usual fare, sets you up nicely for the day and the restaurant serves very good meals for dinner if you want to eat there - not a huge menu but very well cooked and presented, you won't be disappointed.
Set on the corner of a very quaint square with restaurants all around, you don't have to wander endlessly around Lisbon to find a good meal after a day of exploration!
Our bedroom was absolutely fine - nice and clean with a great shower room, plenty of space for a city hotel, but if you are frightfully English a kettle with tea/coffee would have been useful for that early morning cuppa!
The City itself is really interesting, lots to do and very contrasting highlights from the modern area near the river with a super aquarium to cobbled streets, great museums and wonderful architecture showing the status of Portugal at the height of its prowess.
Lisbon is well worth a visit and easy to get around, the Lisboa Carmo is a great place to stay, so go for it and enjoy!
