Staff was very friendly and helpful Breakfast was excellent; there was a lot of choice
Staff Location Wi-fi Breakfast Nice room
Totally good experience Staff helped after we were robbed on the Trams Beware
Staff were very pleasant. Lovely people.
The fact that you had to "log in" with name and password every single time you wanted to use the wifi.
Amazing location - can not be better. Extreme - in a good way - hospitality. We were even provided with free breakfasts, which were top quality
Are u kidding ?!?
Location, breakfast, staff, room
Nicely decorated room
The hotel is right in the centre of everything in Lisbon. The family room was superb for a central city Staff very friendly and helpful Breakfast was excellent
You are steps away from all the action, can't ask for a better spot! Excellent breakfast! We were on the 5th floor and had a great view of the castle day or night. There was a great little square just at the corner where you could enjoy a great lunch al fresco...just lovely
Having to leave.
Modern with friendly staff, comfortable beds and great air conditioning. Great bathrooms but no bidet.
Room size is small. Breakfast only average
Great service Nice with welcome drink Free airport shuttle Free espresso to the breakfast, which was free (said in our booking that they would charge for it, but they offered it for free)
Nothing - a great hotel
The front desk was so helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and so clean. The breakfast was beautifully presented and tasted great.
We loved this hotel, nice breakfast, amazing view from our room, comfortable and huge bed. Helpful staff!
One of the lights in the shower did not work, it is just a minor issue, but housekeeping should have noticed that.
The staff were lovely, well informed, helpful (and gorgeous to boot!). The breakfast is a feast, especially when they lay out fresh figs. The rooms were spacious and the beds are super comfy. We had the corner room 404 with tons of windows and light and a stunning view over the city's landscapes to the sea. The little square next to the hotel has lovely live bossa nova music throughout the summer nights and amazing restaurants and sites are a stone throw away. Loved the place and cannot recommend it enough.
Only a small thing but the WiFi is one of those that require you to re-enter you login details each and every single time and was also very slow. They also only give one bottle of water, once it's empty they don't replenish it so just make sure you buy a litre of water for you bedroom if staying more than three nights. Apart from that, can't fault them :) Loved the placed!
Great location, but quiet after dark
Wash basin - a triumph of design over practicality
Fabulous breakfast; friendly staff
The bed was soft and so large and amazing. the pillows were great, one quite big and high, and soft smaller and super soft. The shower as a rainfall-function which was very romantic. The location was great, close to lots of bars, restaurants, trams, metro etc. The breakfast was so good, lots of fresh fruit and bacon, eggs and even more pastries. they also has a nice cleaning service.
Even though we didn't ask for new towels, they changed them every day, if felt a bit unnecessary and not environmentally friendly. the were no hooks in the room, only in the closet.
Location of this hotel is perfect. It is right in the center of Lisbon, but in a quiet square next to Santa Justa Lift. It is also 1 minute walk from Rossio station so very convenient if you want to go to Sintra for a day. The breakfast is fabulous, with a selection of savory and sweet foods, and also cooked options.
Location was perfect, right in theidfle of the old town but close enough to the river front. Staff were very helpful and my kids loved the selection if Danish pastries!!
I couldn't enable wifi on my phone.
The staff is very helpful. Location of the hotel is exellent and a very good restaurant.
The WiFi is very slow and there is mini fridge is not cold, barely room temperature.
Convenience, bathroom excellent, staff very helpful and friendly
We stayed with our 2 daughters at Lisboa Carmo for 4 nights. We highly recommend this hotel to all families travelling with young children to Lisbon. The location is excellent, the family room fantastic and the breakfast outstanding. The shuttle service from and to the airport is also very convenient.
-The staff are amazing -the breakfast is pretty good -the location was in the center of everything (if you are obese, decrepit, or physically challenged in some other way, you might want to choose a hotel in lower town or on the Avenida da Liberdade)
-The "nice" soft, brown chairs in the dining room are horrible. They are not "chairs." They look good, but they are far too low, far too soft, and they sloped backwards besides. They are utter torture to sit in. You can observe most guests either attempting to perch themselves on the front ledge of the chairs, or as this case with most men, you see them doing some kind of contortionist thing, either sitting frog style or crossing their legs some strange way. Hotels that choose this sort of furniture made for aliens, by people who do not deserve to be called "designers" and do not deserve to have jobs really disturb me. There are some normal chairs in the dining room, but then you have to subject yourself to having breakfast with families with obnoxious children every morning. I opted for the obnoxious children over the excuse for "chairs." -the room has a bad chair also. Another piece of design garbage. One of those things with a flat, round, chrome base, too low for comfort, wobbling and squawking all over, and the back on the chair too low also. It is a complete displeasure to try to sit at the desk and use it every day. -the stupid design sink: tiny, shallow, rectangular, raised up, with a large faucet hanging over it from the left side, making it hard to reach the cold water control because the stupid faucet gets in the way. Put a small amount of water in the sink to shave, put your hands in, and water goes all over the counter and all over the floor. Put your face over the sink to wet it, and risk gouging your head or eye with the faucet. Like the furniture, the sink design is a complete failure. - The shower may have been big enough, but as per usual, someone was so concerned about looks that they did not want to provide any ledges or racks for soap, shampoo, or conditioner. Just stupid; you have to have your soap bar and shampoo floating around on the shower floor.
The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were really helpful with any query we had, location is great for the Bairro Alto district at night.
It will be nice to have salads for breakfast.
