We wanted a reasonably priced hotel close to Rosio square and chose this one. Location was the primary reason for choosing it and we were not disappointed in this respect. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, the room we got was spacious and very clean, and the wireless worked without any trouble. Overall, it was what we wanted, given that we did not intend to stay much in the room anyway. We got a room on the first floor and in the night there was quite some noise from cars that were passing on the street in front of the hotel.

Perfect location - Praca da Figueira is just around a corner and Rossio is next to it. Metro, trams, train station, bus to the Airport, taxi, Rua Augusta... Everything is on a few steps distance. Our room and bathroom were clean and beds were comfortable. It was a bit noisy during the nights but it's normal for a hotel situated in the city center. Staff is gentle and helpful. There is a small grocery shop just beside the hotel and even better one on Praca da Figueira. You can find variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and even some hot meals there. If you choose an option "breakfast excluded" you can eat every morning in a pastry shops. There are couple of them nearby the hotel. They have an excellent offer of salty and sweet pastry, sandwiches, fresh juices and coffee.

The location of the hotel is very perfect for City breaks. Important attractions like Rossio square, Restauradores, Praca da Figueira, Santa Justa Elevator,Praca da Commercio are 5 mins walk from the Hotel. Rossio metro station, Hop on and Hop off (Yellow) Carris bus stop are all in 2 mins walk. All the staffs are very helpful. Carolina and tall lady (forgot her name) in the reception was very very helpful and guiding us to visit shopping malls etc. 1. The reception is very stinking due to a well and water stagnation adjacent to lobby. 2. The lighting in the rooms should be improved. 3. The bathtub is very slippery. 4. Locker is vailable in the room but the management charges extra. Dear travellers please dont take these points as a negative remarks and this is just the feedback for the Hotel to fix these minor observations.Overall very good value for money.

Staff friendly and helpful. Design is fun and individual. Location is right in the middle of things in Lisbon. Price was very reasonable. Our room was upgraded free, and was very spacious. Bathroom had surprisingly good hot water supply and pressure. Buffet breakfast was really peaceful and relaxing - you help yourself to absolutely everything, and the table is cleared once you finish. There was always a friendly willing member of staff on hand in the breakfast room, but they left us alone unless we asked for help. So nice not to be hassled first thing in the day! Our room faced the street, so there was plenty of traffic noise. However, it did not bother us: we were there to experience the city, and in Lisbon it would have been disappointing to be out of earshot of trams and traders. We knew the location might be noisy, and are confident the hotel would have given us a back room had we asked for one. We really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms looked old.The walls were painted but they certainly needed to be repainted. The furniture needed some care too. The air conditioner worked but with huge noise. Not a comfortable place to stay

Location was perfect, central and close to restaurants, public transport and an easy walk to many sights. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, the public areas of the hotel were colourful and slightly quirky. The beds were very comfortable with nice sheets. Breakfast was adequate but not exciting! Definitely good value for a short break. The rooms we had were a bit dismal - looking out onto an enclosed space you could not see what the weather was like and always needed the lights on. Water in bath came out of taps brown. However for a short break at the price we paid it was fine.

The kindness of the staff & the marvelous position of the hotel with regard to access to public transport. I think that the adaptation on the old building was original but did not work in placeseg the blue of the corridors & the too great mixture of styles in the dining room. Raymond Levy

Very good location, to comfortably walk out/in to main points of interest of Lisabon. Breakfast -standard, same choice each day but good quality. Breakfast room very nice, welcoming with pleasant design and colors. Real (not powder) coffee was served :) Welcome city explanation and map offered at reception at arrival- is a very good idea from hotel management, as we came unprepared on city details. Based on it, we did plan the next days of our stay and enjoyed them to the max. I recommend hotel Tejo -as well as Lisabon for a weekend trip.

The location in the heart of the old city was excellent for sightseeing and catching transit. The hotel has good wifi and a nice lounge you can sit in to use it. The staff were helpful and you are right in the heart of shopping and restaurants. We had a nice sized room that was very quiet with comfortable beds. The price was excellent for the quality of the hotel in a large city.

The hotel is located right in the centre of Lisboa. All the highlights are within walking distance. The hotel-staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but clean. Summarized: a perfect hotel for a city-trip, where you spend most time outside the hotel. Book this hotel for the location, not for the rooms and facilities. Breakfast was a little bit of a dissapointment, but that may be subjective because it's depend on someones taste.

Perfect for a city trip to Lissabon. Park your car very near the hotel and forget about it until you leave town again. All buses stop around the corner, not over a minute to walk. No noise at night and a stunning view up to the castle.Fantastic location and very helpful staff.
