Staff was extremely helpful. The room was actually a suite. The location was a 1/2 block from each of two transportation sources that access most of the attractions of Lisbon. The hotel is next to a grocery store and across the street from an excellent and reasonable restaurant and also across from a small store that serves breakfast and has numerous pastries that were delectable. A great experience.

The location is perfect! You can explore the entire city center on foot if you stay at this hotel. If I will ever come back to Lisbon I will definitely stay there again. Rooms are very very tiny (and beds as well are the minimum size), plus our room had a lot of noise from what we thought could be the cooling system. I had to use earplugs to sleep well.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by the staff. The common areas are inviting spaces to relax after a long day. The breakfast was amazing, some of the best pao (bread) we've had. The location was perfect to all transit and must see sights. Having 2 balconies to watch the trams was a treat. Would recommend.

Great, central location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good-sized bathroom. Noise from outside late at night (traffic, pedestrians shouting) due to the central location. Room was a little small and basic.

Excellent location.100 m from the central square and the main passage(walking street).2 minutes from railway station which leads to Sintra. All main places of interest of Lisboa are reachable by step. Good price vs quality. Reception 24 h. Wi-Fi is free but exsists only in lobby. Internet is chargable but not expensive. Breakfasts are the same every day but enough to be not hungry till dinner. Cheese, ham, butter, yogurt, omlette, fried bacon, flakes with milk, fruits, cakes, orange juice. But it is much better than in France,Germany and some other European countries. Due to location on on of the main streets of tourist centre the rooms are noisy( trams, buses, tourists). But it didn't disturb us so much because of whole day walking took all powers. We were in march, the weather was fine(+15 +19)but there were rather uncomfortable temperature in room.AC didn't operate that season.

Very close to Rossio Metro. The girl that checked us in was very friendly and we were able to leave our suitcase there for the afternoon after we checked out. Would recommend. The strong smell of smoke in our non-smoking room.

Staff friendly and helpful. Design is fun and individual. Location is right in the middle of things in Lisbon. Price was very reasonable. Our room was upgraded free, and was very spacious. Bathroom had surprisingly good hot water supply and pressure. Buffet breakfast was really peaceful and relaxing - you help yourself to absolutely everything, and the table is cleared once you finish. There was always a friendly willing member of staff on hand in the breakfast room, but they left us alone unless we asked for help. So nice not to be hassled first thing in the day! Our room faced the street, so there was plenty of traffic noise. However, it did not bother us: we were there to experience the city, and in Lisbon it would have been disappointing to be out of earshot of trams and traders. We knew the location might be noisy, and are confident the hotel would have given us a back room had we asked for one. We really enjoyed our stay.

Location was perfect, central and close to restaurants, public transport and an easy walk to many sights. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, the public areas of the hotel were colourful and slightly quirky. The beds were very comfortable with nice sheets. Breakfast was adequate but not exciting! Definitely good value for a short break. The rooms we had were a bit dismal - looking out onto an enclosed space you could not see what the weather was like and always needed the lights on. Water in bath came out of taps brown. However for a short break at the price we paid it was fine.

The kindness of the staff & the marvelous position of the hotel with regard to access to public transport. I think that the adaptation on the old building was original but did not work in placeseg the blue of the corridors & the too great mixture of styles in the dining room. Raymond Levy

Very good location, to comfortably walk out/in to main points of interest of Lisabon. Breakfast -standard, same choice each day but good quality. Breakfast room very nice, welcoming with pleasant design and colors. Real (not powder) coffee was served :) Welcome city explanation and map offered at reception at arrival- is a very good idea from hotel management, as we came unprepared on city details. Based on it, we did plan the next days of our stay and enjoyed them to the max. I recommend hotel Tejo -as well as Lisabon for a weekend trip.

The location in the heart of the old city was excellent for sightseeing and catching transit. The hotel has good wifi and a nice lounge you can sit in to use it. The staff were helpful and you are right in the heart of shopping and restaurants. We had a nice sized room that was very quiet with comfortable beds. The price was excellent for the quality of the hotel in a large city.

The hotel is located right in the centre of Lisboa. All the highlights are within walking distance. The hotel-staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but clean. Summarized: a perfect hotel for a city-trip, where you spend most time outside the hotel. Book this hotel for the location, not for the rooms and facilities. Breakfast was a little bit of a dissapointment, but that may be subjective because it's depend on someones taste.

Perfect for a city trip to Lissabon. Park your car very near the hotel and forget about it until you leave town again. All buses stop around the corner, not over a minute to walk. No noise at night and a stunning view up to the castle.Fantastic location and very helpful staff.
