Room very dark....

Good location and helpful, friendly staff. Travelling by myself, hotel manager gave me good advice for tours, muséums, restaurants.The atmosphere is welcoming.

Shuttle was arranged by hotel april 7 from airport to hotel. I paid in total 50 euros with the understanding that it included the fare back from hotel to airport. Shuttle service did not show up on april 11. Manager told me they had forgotten and suggested to take taxi which cost me 12 euros. This experience has left me with a bitter taste; Therefore, I will not recommend the Chiado hotel to my family/friends. Pls tell me if 46,50 euros includes one or two way fare, like with Madeira Regency Palace hotel which charged me 50 euros two ways. Thanks for your reply.

Everything but no internet

Lack of internet service. We had no service the majority of our stay. My wife works on-line teaching college classes and I need to use e-mail for work. Unless this is fixed we could not return.

Rooftop lounge & terrace afforded a spectacular view of the city.

Internet access was down the entire time.

Location is great. Excellent Staff - warm, welcoming, personal service. Room had beautiful view overlooking the city.

The front desk staff was excellent. They were always friendly and efficient. Ana helped us enormously and made our stay much more pleasant.

Friendly and helpful staff especially at reception. We shall definitely return.

Bed mattress was bumpy and poor lighting in room

The location is fantastic.Wonderful for shopping and for eating out. I loved the view from my room and my terrace. I could see right over the centre of Lisbon. I could see the Castle, the River Tejo.. the view could not have been bettered.The bathroom was spotless, the TV worked fine and so did the personal safe.

The bed was rather hard and the low energy bulb lighting was a bit too harsh.

Perfect location, great room with a terrace and fantastic view. Beautiful restaurant, good value. Would definitely recommend to friends

No tea/coffee facilities in room. Couldn't work out if they actually did have room service (but we didn't ask).

The view from the rooms with terrace are wonderful. Great location in the centre of town with easy to reach connections to all public transport

You pay purely for the location, the rooms definitely didn't seem 4 star to me. Bathrooms need updating. No hairdryer!

Poor breakfast choice for 4 stars

It's location, the room and the view.

We had a superior room on the top floor with a balcony overlooking old Lisbon and the river. It was definitely worth the extra as the other rooms were much smaller and did not enjoy the superb view. On site car parking was an added bonus. The hotel is right in the middle of Lisbon and an ideal place to stay when exploring beautiful Lisbon. The bar and restaurant were closed for refurbishment during our stay but we did enjoy an excellent room service meal and the breakfasts were good with plenty of choice.

The AC was either turned off at night or turned down - room was very hot after 9:00pm

Probably the best view in the city, from the rooms with balcony! Nice hotel bar. Good location.

The hotel needs some upgrading. The comfort is good, but a bit like the "eighties".

Located perfectly in the Center. Everything in Good Walk distance. Perfect view in the 7th Floor.

Only 4 Parking Lots. Bathroom clean, but some Mould.

I needed a power concerted, hotel had none due to high season

Location, cultural building, decent price

No blow dryer

The huge terrace; and the fact that the building is part of a shopping mall, with an excellent foodcourt. Entrance to the mall is only 10 steps from the front door of the hotel.

No comfortable chairs on the terrace. No coffee/tea possibilities in the room.Too few electrical outlets for all appliances one travels with these days. For this price there should have been more amenities in the room.

From booking the hotel to making changes and the service from all of the staff I'd like to thank everyone for a wonderful stay. Thank you.
