The apartment was very well designed. Clean. Great view. Great staff. Great location but a party area. Easy to get to everywhere but a climb up.

A bit of a frat area. Hotel is perfect but the area is perfect for stag parties and people that want to party.

I spent a wonderful time in Lisbon Colours.I liked everything! Great location, near many cafes, restaurants and bars. You are in the heart of the nightlife, the night will not be enough to get around all the bars :-) The central location, you can walk to Rossio Square for 10-15 minutes. Comfortable living conditions, positive atmosphere and interior. Friendly, helpful and caring staff. Thank you, Igor! You were very attentive to my questions and requests. I have already booked the Apartment Lisbon Colours for July.

It was a pleasant surprise. I loved everything about Lisbon Colours; Central, clean, comfortable, great service and charming. If you are accustomed to Marriott style hotel and service, do not stay here, but if you like FUN, freedom, city buzz, bars.clubs and AMAZING restaurants around, go for it. I loved every second of my stay.

Fairly good location for touring but very noisy at night- party district!

Extremely noisy- bars and loud music til all hours of night! Also many stairs to climb with heavy suitcases! We had a 2 bedroom to accomodate my husband and I and our daughter and paid a large sum for the apartment and were told we woul have to pay an additional $20 a night for a third person!

It's in the heart of city, easy to reach all touristical areas. Nice decorated and renewed building.

Sound insulation is really bad, forget to sleep between 11 pm - 02 am due to the night life front of building..

Everything was excellent !! We really loved it, the staff was extremely nice, the appartment is really really clean , cosy and ideal for a couple, the whole family or group of friends ... We had an appartment in the 3sd floor so it wasn't noisy ... We really recommand it, 5/5 !

The Apartment are on perfect location and very comfort and has everything you need inside make you feels that is your own apartment. Safe and very Quite, I love the facts the staff received you with a bottle of wine and big bottle of water in tour apartment... I love it

No metro station close bt, but its not a big deal, restaurant and bars ( Gays and Straights Places ) all together not even a block away...

Everything was just great! I stayed on the 4th flour. There was no noise heard windows shut at weekend nights as many complained! Even being sober :) Location perfect. Balcony view perfect. The apartment itself perfect. I cooked local food bought on the local farmers market and that really adds impression of the city. Staff is reeeaaalyyyy friendly.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Location was perfect. Value for money.Clean, comfortable and cute. Hotel staff were exceptional. Can't recommend this place enough.

It is a place to have a great time on Friday and Saturday night.If you don't like party noise and people having fun either don't stay in Barrio Alto or if you can't beat them join them! Sunday to Thursday night is quiet.

Everything is just great!!! Not only the hotel, but also the staff here, Igor and the girl, are excellent.

Gorgeous place to stay ( 4th floor apt) for a single or couple. Bedroom very quite. Host extremely polite and helpfully. Perfect for night life due to Location. Thank you. Carlo

The location was perfect, & the top/4th floor appartment had a view over the river. It was decorated to a very high standard, very clean & well-equipped.The concierge Igor was extremely helpful - he lent me a mobile with his mobile contact details in case of problems. These appartments are right in the busy bar & eating district of Bairro Alto, close to Rossio station & the funiculars for travel to Sintra, Belem etc, also the main Baixa shopping district, & Baixa-Chiado metro station. For those who dislike noise, nightlife etc, perhaps less suitable, but the bedroom was at the rear, & everything in this area shuts at 2am prompt. This was also extremely good value, being only slightly more expensive for a single traveller than many budget hotels.

For the elderly/less mobile, this may be less suitable i.e. no lift.

A really lovely apartment, well set up and immaculately clean. The location is superb if you want to be where the action is. Parties , fado abound so be prepared to enjoy yourself. The young man in charge is excellent, happy to help in any way he can. You can walk to great places and travelling further is easy and cheap on the metro which is very close.

I loved everything about Lisbon Colours. The apartment was cozy and very clean, a very comfortable bed, a very good wifi connection, a nice marble bathroom with a bathtub, a lovely small balcony with a river view where I enjoyed my coffees every morning (smoking is allowed on the balcony) and a nice kitchen with all the amenities to make you feel like home or even better. The location is great, right in the heart of Lisbon's nightlife and close to everything: Castelo de sao Jorge, Baixa, Chiado, tram 28 (it's a must to have a ride!), Rossio train station to go to Sintra, Cais do Sodre station to go to Cascais, metro line, etc. The service is excellent. Igor is a great great great!!! guy who will do all to make your staying as enjoyable as possible. He even came in a hurry to help me with some information on his day off! And when I left I had my plane late in the evening and he let me use the apartment until my leaving time even if the check out was supposed to be done at 12. I was welcomed with a glass of Porto wine and fruits. Thank you, Igor for everything! I would definitely come back to Lisbon Colours and I 100% recommend it. Regarding the noise outside late in the evening ( as it is a very lively neighborhood) I wasn't bothered at all and slept like a baby, so that's subjective. The windows isolate the sound quite well. As a single woman I felt extremely safe in this area. It is a really nice are to make new friends and have fun. After your first night there you will not be alone anymore! :) People are genuinly friendly and kind! So if you're planning your trip to Lisbon, book an apartment at Lisbon Colours! You will never regret it!

There are NO negative aspects about it!

Great location right in the midst of lively Bairro Alto. Bedrooms are in the back of the building, so noise from the streets hardly gets through. Very kind reception. The apartment was spotless and well-designed.

There is no elevator, which can be quite exhausting if your apartment happens to be on the 4th floor.

This is a really wonderful place to stay in Lisbon. Everything is top notch. I was in the "river view" apartment on the 4th floor and had my own balcony, looking down towards the water. Igor the building manager is an absolute delight, and was amazingly helpful in making me comfortable. The apartments are located smack in the middle of the colourful and exciting Bairro Alto district, which makes it very convenient to see all of Lisbon's sights. I walked everywhere. It was very hot while during my stay, and the air con was great. Terrific wifi reception too. Other reviewers have mentioned the street noise from surrounding bars and restaurants. This didn't concern me at all, as I thought it added to the atmosphere and my overall experience of Lisbon. The bars all close about 2am, and the revellers clear very quickly from the streets, so it's completely quiet after that. But if you're someone who likes to go to sleep early, you should choose accomodation in another district of Lisbon. Pity, because you'll miss the Lisbon Colours experience! Highly recommended.

I loved my stay - nothing negative to say.

Practically everything is wonderful. Appartment is cute, spacious, full of light. Location is central, close to all sights, in clubbing area, with lots of cafes & restaurants. reception guy amazingly nice, friendly, helpful, he is only hotel keeper and care about guests. But his working schedule is not strict. So better to confirm with hotel your arrival time in case it is too early in the morning or late at night, because reception may be closed and you would be on the street.

I was asked for 200 euros deposit during my stay to ensure apartment wont be ruined. At check out deposit at full amount was returned. It was surprise by deposit and it was not mentioned in hotel booking terms. Better to include this notice and make it visible.

Lisbon Colour Apartments in Bairrrio Alto was in a fantastic location - exactly where I wanted to be, which is why I chose it. When I arrived I was very pleasantly surprised at what a fantastic apartment it was on the 2nd floor from the top. Having a bedroom at the back was very handy (as the streets can be noisy at night) and apartment was just really tasteful and comfortable. I was in the Tejo room which was great. I should also mention building manager Igor who was very helpful! Beleza...

I love Lisbon Colours, and everything about it! The location is perfect, in Bairro Alto, and easy to find. (Tip: Get off at Baixa/ Chiado station. There are two exits, take the one on the right once you left the ticket barricade, it should have 5 flights of stairs or escalators to lead you out of station. Once you get out of station, you will see Hermes boutique in front of you. Pass that boutique on your left until the main road (about 30 secs) and make a right turn and walk up the hill and you will find the street to Lisbon Colours on your left). I arrived at 19.30 hours (I forgotten to contact them about my arrival time), and Igor was there waiting for me. He was supposed to finish at 17.00 hours. I was very grateful. Igot showed me around my apartment, and when I told him I forgotten about to bring a multiple adaptor to charge my phone, he went all the way home to bring me his own adaptor. Igor is truly amazing and helpful! The apartment is in tip top condition, everything seems brand new, and very clean and tidy, nicely decorated. I love every bids of this apartment and made me feel extremely comfortable, just like home away from home. I will definitely come back if I return to Lisbon, and certainly recommend to everyone. One thing though, I heard people commented that as this building is located in the middle of all the hustling and bustling, it could get noisy in the night. My apartment is on the 4th floor, my bedroom is at the back of the apartment, I couldn't hear any noise (it wasnt even that noisy when I was reading in living room) during the night.

You could not match this appartment for central location with wonderful choices of restaurants in immediate vicinity and "corner shops" for self catering. Easy access to all city centre points of interest. We really felt we were in the heart of Lisbon.

Lisbon Colours is in an old building that has been completely updated. Everything is new inside but the structure is old, which makes a nice combination. This is a small apartment and there are no hotel services or amenities provided- you are on your own. It had a living room, kitchen area along one wall with full range of appliances, a bedroom and bath room. The man who answered the door and showed me to my room was very nice and helped me call a cab the day before my early departure. He was not always present although he did give me a number where I could call him if necessary, but if you need services, advice, or hand holding this is not the place for you. I happened to like being in a quaint building and if you want a local feel rather than a large hotel this would be a good choice.

If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet environment I would not recommend Lisbon Colours. It is right on a small cobble stone street with another small perpendicular street in front. At night the streets come alive- restaurants put out tables, music pours from the many night clubs. It is action central from 10 pm to 3am with the streets absolutely packed with people- so it is not the quietest place- the bedroom was in the back and there was air conditioning so you could close the windows and wooden shutters and not hear much of the noise, but it's something to consider. I was told the apartments in the back were quieter but I didn't see them. If you are looking for a place right in the middle of all the night life fun then this could be the place for you. Also, it is very close to public transportation and a main street so it is easy to get to the many sites. Get a green bus pass and save a lot of money.

Great location in the Bairro Alto (if you don't like hearing music until about 2am on weeknights don't stay here), lovely little apartment - perfect for a couple of friends. Igor was a fantastic host who went out his way to help out with enquiries even on his day off. Apartment was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

There are no washing machine/dryer facilities in the apartment or building, and no iron/ironing board in the apartment we stayed in. There is, however, a laundry service a short walk away near the top of the tram-line and Igor can give directions (Eur5.50 per kilo of washing, ironing/dry-cleaning also available). Wireless internet access in our apartment was poor.

Lovely and special place, nicely decorated with care. Brand new. Opened earlier in March. Well located in "Bairro Alto". Very good price/quality and excellent recommendation for those not looking for usual/standard hotel services but different kind of accomodation
