Hotellet har alt en trenger/forventer fra et 4-stjerners hotell. Svært behagelig bassengområde, god frokost, fin størrelse på rommene, ekstremt gode senger, alt av fasiliteter etc. Ingen hoteller i Lisboa har etter min mening svært god beliggenhet, da attraksjoner og severdigheter er spredt rundt i byen. Fordelen er at taxier er lett tilgjengelige og billige. Marriott ligger i det typiske hotellområdet og taxi til f.eks. sentrumskjernen koster fra 4,50 - 6,50 EUR. Alt i alt et særdeles bra hotell, men hold utkikk etter gode rabatter på rommene (vi betalte 62,25 EUR per rom uten frokost). |

The room was very comfortable and the general ambiance of the hotel excellent. Friendly staff and amenities excellent. A very pleasant stay. The prices of the drinks and additional services were very high. i.e. internet charhes in the businesss centre. The mini bar prices ridiculously high and a very English thing, there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. |

The pool area is really nice to relax in after a busy day in the city center. The hotel is clean and nice and calm. Good place to stay if you want a nice standard and pool. The hotel is far from the center and not to close to the metro station. If you gonna spend a lot of time in the city center you will also spend some money on taxi. Its about 6-10 eur each way. |

The room was really comfortable. Swimming pool was a bonus and the breakfast was great with a really wide selection. It was further out from the city centre than we expected and it was at least a 10minute walk to the nearest metro which was not just 'around the corner' as it said in some reviews. Also the directions the staff gave us to find the metro were not great. We ate in the restaurant of the hotel on the first night- the food was very disappointing, my burger was red instead of well done and the chips were cold. The replacement was not much better. I wouldn't recommend it for food apart from the breakfast. |

Overall the Hotel was Good +. The service and facilities were excellent. The only place to eat nearby was the Hotel restaurant. The buffet breakfast was expensive. |

Nice and clean room. Close to airport - very easy access. We had a very good deal thru booking.com so would recommend. The hotel is close by the highway. So, it is noisy by the pool. Also, we didn't like the music by the pool. We wanted to relax but the music was loud. |

Good 4 stars hotel with the right conforts and 5 euros away from city centre by taxi. You can realx in teh swimming pool area if you need. The water of the pool was not clean. Internet access from the room was not free. |

Near to airport, spacious corridors, lovely rooms and professional staff. The poolside cafe could be a little more friendly, atmosphere for casual dining. Light music perhaps. |

The Hotel is located in the centre of Lisbon.Has spacious rooms and a nice garden. The water of the swimmingpool was too cold. There were not enough beds by the swimmingpool so several clients had to sit on the grass. |

The hotel staff was outstanding. We had quite a few special requests that were always quick to be answered. The courtesy and attentiveness of staff are really exceptional. Room is big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is excellent and rich, and the minute you sit down for breakfast, even when the breakfast hall is crowded, someone comes to you to offer tea or coffee. The hotel is not quite in the center, and we used taxis all the time to go back and forth. Mostly there was no problem with that, but one day there just weren't any taxis and we had to wait for a long time. Also, some drivers try to cheat - twice it happened to us that they charged 18 Euros for a trip that normally costs 7, and you can't really argue without the language. |

An excellent hotel in the chain maintaining the Marriott standards to the highest degree. Room was spacious, very clean and tidy and so very comfortable and the bed and pillows were of such a high standard. Staff were so professional and helpful at all times. |

We arrived in the morning to Lisbon and got a room right away at the arrival. It was great not have to wait until 14.00 to check in. The pool was a nice place to chill out during hot July days. People at the reception spoke good English and were very friendly. The breakfast was good. We booked the room with breakfast included but for some reason the information did not reach hotel personnel so I had to sign a form every morning during six-night stay before entering the breakfast room. The issue was solved during check-out and it took some time but luckily we were not in a hurry. Housekeeping started to knock the doors pretty early so if you want to sleep late be sure to hang up Do-not-disturb sign. |

I found the staff to be extremely helpful in relation to me as a tourist with not the best portugese! they were extremely proud of their city and country and this reflected on their genuineness when dealing with a tourist. Nothing was a problem. All services are available to you. The rooms where very comfortable ( we had a kingsize bed which was so hard to get out of!!! The marriot perhaps is a little outside the city but the taxi service was excellent and not that costly and there is a metro station around the corner.Where the room rate was excellent value ( included B&B) however the bar prices were extravagant. |
