Ligging van het hotel is erg mooi; voor stadbezoek etc is eigen auto wel belangrijk; in naseizoen veel ouderen maar (daardoor?) ook rustig.

Buffet eten is prima voor een paar dagen maar niet langer dan dat.

Very good value for money, very close to beach, very good outside pool, and acceptable indoor pool. The food we enjoyed, a change to what we are used to in the U.K.

The Hotel is very clean, this was our 4th. Visit, but did look "tired" in certain areas. A shuttle service to Faro Airport would be a good idea, Taxis quite expensive.

I really enjoyed the location of the hotel and the excellent kindness of all the staff: they were professional, kind, friendly, helpful. It is a wonderful hotel for everybody and excellent for families with kids because of the large outside green areas with plenty of room under the shade of palm trees. I also select as a big advantage the fact that it is a quiet hotel far from the noise and bustle of crowded spots although busier places like Albufeira, Vilamoura or even Faro are not very far away.

I think Alfamar needs a process of repairing to make some areas, e.g. the rooms, more modern. However, my view is the hotel areas, including the facilities it offers, fulfil their role. So, to tell the truth, mainly in the moment of such a big economic crisis, I would prefer to have the hotel as it is, because if you go on a big investing and modernising program, you would for sure have to make a rise in prices and the situation might not be rewarding. So I would rather have the hotel as it is and keep the prices without any rise, if possible.

The Alfamar location is excellent for beach holidays.

The design is little bit old and therefore it is not a charming hotel but the price is adjusted to the offered conditions.

Hotel is really well located with direct access to the beach. Pool area is really nice, the pool itself is the best. Really good price/quality relation

Not the hotels fault, but people reserve the pool side chairs, like for hours at a time, so it's hard to get a chair when there is literally almost no one n a group of 4 or chairs. There is a sigh that states that you can't reserve, but nobody really cares.

Location. Exactly on the beach and the fact that has indoor swimming pool.

The floor of the rooms could be more confortable (rugs or carpets would improve significantly).

Could do with more variety in the food and some entertainment at night would be nice.

It need a place to support a late check out with shourers.

O hotel está muito bem localizado, com um acesso excelente a uma das melhores praias do algarve. Rodeado de vegetação e pinhais excelentes para bons passeios pedestres. Possui boas condições de limpeza facto que minimiza a antiguidade do hotel. Gostava que este hotel fizesse umas obas de remodolação, se tivesse de voltar a escolher, escolheria novamente o alfamar para passar férias.

Os preços das refeições são elevados. O pequeno-almoço não possui muita variedade/qualidade. A zona de spa (piscina interior, sauna, jacuzzi) é um pouco arcaica, o banho turco não funciona ou não existe (??). Os funcionários não são muito simpáticos.... Este hotel tem capacidade para melhorar bastante com uma boa remodolação.
