Hotel Lusitânia  

A lovely modern hotel with excellent facilities and friendly helpful staff. Very good value for money and could not be faulted. Use sat nav coordinates rather than the address to locate on the outskirts of Guarda close to the motorway.

Very clean, friendly staff, excellant value, lovely wine and very friendy waiter, perfect stop from/to algarve from Santander last place to stop before Spain!!!

The service at this hotel was exemplary. Everyone of the staff was helpful, obliging and everything was done with a smile as though they really enjoyed being of service. The location is a little strange because it appears to be in the middle of a housing estate outside the main part of Guarda but it was quieter than it would have been in the town. Can't recommend it enough

I would have preferred a secure internet facility rather than the Vodafone one which we eventually discovered was limited to one machine (I have a laptop and my wife an iPad) and the Log On was rather temperamental and needed to be put in each time you logged on.

We liked the large room which was immaculate as well as the friendliness of the staff. The hotel was just right for an overnight stay between Portugal and Spain and the massage in the Spa was excellent value for money. It was too cold to use the outdoor pool but the indoor pool served its purpose very well. We were loaned bathing caps by the staff, which was welcome as we didn't have our own.

Wifi worked well but only downstairs in the foyer; an ethernet cable for room use is available for free from reception though The service in the bar area was extremely slow as there was only one person on duty ... but the service was friendly and polite.

The staff is very helpful, and the location is just near by turnpike.The breakfast is so rich. there is a free parking on site.

Good value for money and well situated for our journey from the Algarve to Santander,Spain

Slightly to far from the City.

We cannot recommend this hotel to highly, this was our second stay there en route from the ferry terminal at Santander to the Algarve. The staff were warm and welcoming, the food good and plentiful, the breakfast an absolute delight Our room was huge with crisp white bed linen, the bathroom was cavenous with fluffy white towels and a mirror over the basin that must have measured 10ft x 4ft with a hair dryer beside it. My wife was speechless and that doesnt happen often Plenty of parking, but we made use of the underground secure parking at 5 Euros for the night

Maybe the wine at the dinner table was a bit on the pricey side and tea making facilities in the room would have been nice as my wife likes her cup of tea in the morning

Very spacious rooms and public areas. Stylish decor and furnishings. Excellent value. Very good disabled facilities.

Location could be better but ok if you have a car.The Hotel has changed ownership and we did not think the food was as good as on our previous visit. However there was nothing to really complain about and the hotel is of a high standard particularly for the price charged.

Being recognised by the reception staff, one year after last visit!

A sua localização é fantástica, pois torna-se numa mistura de campo com a cidade, pois a calma que rodeia a zona do hotel contrasta com a proximidade ao centro da cidade. É concerteza um hotel a recomendar e concerteza uma experiência a repetir.
