Hotel Lusitania  

The reception staff could not do enough for us. Due to unforseen circumstances, we had to get from Guarda to Lisbon by train and they arranged all of the trains that we had to take for us. The actual hotel is a modern, clean hotel at a fantastic price. I will give it 10/10!

Tricky to find so used Satnav

Location was great, we were driving from uk and this was an overnight stop for us. Great value and staff were excellent Will definitely book this again. Guarda looks wonderful, will try to spend more time there next time.

Room is very spacious. Minibar very affordable. Restaurant on sight although they didn't have everything on the menu. The staff very friendly and helpful especially Mariana.

Very far from station and even further away from the town so walking not an option. Tourist map is confusing and sights difficult to find.

Excellent service. We had food delivered to our room. Very good and hot. Very handy for motorway and petrol.

It's not a level of 4 stars, smell of the swimming pool in the lobby, restaurant open only from 19:30 pm, breakfast not tasty

Nice Place

Great and modern Spa Hotel, with indoor and outdoor swiming pools, jacuzzi and health club. Really big room. Great restaurant. Had a gourmet version of Bacalhau com Broa that was really nice. Excellent breakfast buffet, with a big variety and were you can have a bica (expresso) instead of the typical boring hotel coffee. Lots of parking space and good free wi-fi connection in room.

Nothing to complain about because I was driving, but if you don't have a car, it's a bit far from the city center.

The hotel was exactly as described in other reviews. I was very happy I chose to stay there. The hotel is perfect for a trip between Spain and Portugal, but I discovered it is superb for nature and hiking as well. The staff is superb-from Housekeeping to the front desk! The parking is easy and safe. The breakfast was excellent, with local cheeses and organic jams as well as a light section for people watching their weight.

The best in the region, away from the confusion in a relax place perfect for whoever wants to go and relax. The staff was very friendly always with a smile.i must complement the reception staff, for their friendliness and for being so helpfull.

Convenient for stop over on way to and from Spain and the Algarve. Easy access. Good free parking. Indoor and outdoor pools, plus gym. Decent size rooms which are clean and tidy. Good price - paid 68 euros for two including breakfast

Bar service is very slow, had to go looking for someone to go behind the bar and serve drinks. This seems to be the norm as I was at this same hotel 1 year previous and the bar service was slow. Location of hotel is not the best if you want to walk to a restuarant or bar, but there again its handy to jump on the main road to head elsewear. Therefore a good stopover hotel

Servico restaurante e principalmente a simpatia natural e genuína das funcionarias/os.salientar a presença do chefe de cozinha preocupando-se com a refeição. Incluo a funcionaria da recepcao na simpatia fora do vulgar
