All staff very helpful. Good location in Funchal. Easy walking into centre. Clean hotel with good facilities.

We liked the location and the fact that we were booked in an apartment at the seaside (as per our request) in the smaller building which was very quiet in the evening. We really loved the beach and the easy access to the sea water as both of us always swim in the sea. The beach staff were very helpful and they always allowed people to stay even after 7pm. The Pool Restaurant offered fresh food and excellent value for money buffets. We booked 3 evening meals for the 2 of us for 120 euros including the wine. We had excellent espada and fresh beef. They had happy hours and offered drinks at 50% off. The facilities of the resort are very good and the resort is in the best location in Funchal offering easy access to the sea and very close to the centre. Excellent location for shopping, eating out and walking.

We did not like the old and small beds. The kitchen and bathroom were a bit dated but still very clean

This place offers excellent value for money, especially out of season. We were upgraded to a very spacious room with a brilliant view over the sea. The breakfasts too were excellent. The reception staff were very friendly although a few of the other staff we found a little surly. All in all a great stay though.

Во-первых, номер. Это фактически двухкомнатные апартаменты с двумя ванными по цене стандартного двухместного номера. Нам в какой-то степени повезло, у нас был большой балкон (10 х 3,5) на всю ширину корпуса, с него вид и на горы, и на море. Такие номера есть по одному с торцевых сторон на этажах выше четвертого и, в восточном крыле до пятого, а в западном, по-моему, до восьмого. В остальных номерах балконы тоже есть, но существенно меньше. А на нашем можно было устраивать небольшие вечеринки человек на пятнадцать. Во-вторых, расположение. Собственный выход к морю, с противоположной стороны выход к стильному Парку Екатерины, и при этом всего в десяти минутах шагом до центра.

Главный минус - обещаемого на сайте бассейна с подогревом нет. Более того, в январе вода в бассейне была даже холоднее, чем океане. Еще одна вещь, которую можно посчитать минусом - это, когда лень идти в город шагом, приходится вызывать такси, так как до ближайшей остановки автобуса надо идти метров двести вверх по склону.

El aspecto descuidado del personal que atendía el comedor durante el desayuno y la falta de variedad y de calidad del desayuno, que no se corresponde para nada con un cuatro estrellas.

Excelent amplasat, intre orasul vechi si zona mai noua a promenadei (Lido). Am stat int-o suita generoasa ca marime cu terasa mare cu vedere la ocean. Dormitorul delimitat cu usi de camera de zi si bucatarie echipata excelent. Baia curata. Cu toate ca pare a fi vechi hotelul este bine intretinut. Curatenia zilnica impecabila. Piscina exterioara mare. Mic dejun bun.

Ambiente familiar

Utmerket beliggenhet I fht sentrum og gamlebyen. Strålende utsikt over havet. God plass I leiligheten. God frokost og lunch. Stort sett hyggelig og serviceminded betjening. Havsbad. Fornuftig pris. Ort sagt: valuta for pengene!

Noe trafikkstøy på dagtid, men rolig om natten.

Location

Narrowness and strange form of the room, narrowness of the bath. Darkness of the room at the third floor. Monotony breakfast. Lack of the vegetables, too litle fruits at the breakfast. Lack of the bath accessory, only gel and shampoo.
