At a distance of just 2 km away, guests can visit the town of Portimão, set on the estuary of the Arade River. The fishing port of Portimão is blessed with a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere and a rich selection of fish and seafood restaurants.
A short drive west lies the picturesque village of Alvor, where the discovery of a Neolithic settlement with the remains of a subsequent Roman occupation is evidence of the town’s historic past.
Other sites and towns easily accessible in the region include the historical city of Silves (17km) away, the mountains of Monchique and Caldas do Monchique and its famous rejuvenating water (26km) and the city of Lagos (20km).

Excellent room, nice pool, maintenance was well done. 4 person appartment with only 2 beds and a sleeping bank. Normal for this price, but a sleepingbank is not preferable to sleep on. |

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment & it was very spacious, we were five adults & one infant. There was definitely plenty of room for all of us. It was great we had a little back garden for my 18mth old son to run around in, however it wasn't secure no gate to close it in. The pool was lovely & near just out the back garden & down a couple of steps & you were there. It was a nice a big pool. It was well priced for what you got, even if a bit basic, as long as you weren't spending much time indoors & weren't too fusy on how clean it was...don't get me wrong it wasn't filthy (wouldn't have stayed there if it was), they just weren't big into the details (like cleaning behind sofas, etc.). The Reception staff were lovely. The childrens play area (swings & slides) it was a good idea for it to be covered in sand, to make falls a bit more gentle, however adults seemed to use this as a large cigarette ashtray, lots of cigarette butts lying around with an 18mth old who puts everything in his mouth....not such a nice place. We also found it a little noisy at night....people seemed to be moving furniture around at all odd hours of the night. We found that the apartment wasn't extremely clean, we happened to move the sofa from the wall & there was a bit of dirt behind there. |

The comfort of the apartments, very spacious, feeling very safe, kids pool and big pool just outside of apartment, kept very well, also had a back garden, as we had a ground floor apartment. Very little entertainment for kids and families, we had teenagers and 3 young children. Bar very quiet and closes early.. |

The apartment was very big and spacious. It was also spotlessly clean.The faciities within it were good - fridge/freezer, dishwasher, good furnishings, air con. The pool area was also well looked after Parking was a nightmare. The underground car park didn't appear to be open and so everyone was forced to park in the tiny area outside the apartment blocks. This was not satisfactory. One minor thing: the dishwasher - which we didn't use until the day we left - was supplied without washing tablets. It also wouldn't drain but that's a mechanical issue. |

the pool downstairs was very suitable for family and children and quiet most of the time. The cafe next door was handy for snacks, lunches icecreams etc. The spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms were superb with daily cleaning service in the room. I would have preferred more satellite television channels. The ones there were german or portuguese and english channels were limited. |

The size of the apartment was excellent and all amenities inc dishwasher and microwave. Very clean outside areas and pool. Friendly staff. Bar and snack bar below standard so could do with updating. |

The staff was really nice and extremely helpful - for example, the microwave malfunctioned and was immediately replaced, no questions asked!. Fully equipped kitchen. Large rooms. Nice swimming pool. Ten minutes walk to a wonderful beach. I will definitely return! |

Well equipped and comfortable apartment - easy access location just off the main road, supermarkets nearby - lovely pool area - hotel is very quiet at night so you can get a good night sleep ! A bit far from the beach and rest of town (restaurants, shops, etc..) - a good 20/25 min walk along a very busy main road |

The apartment was spacious with equipped kitchen, there was a nice view from the balcony. The pools were good, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was not very clean and there are not enough parking places in front of the hotel. |

Lovely large apartment, nice bar/snack-bar on site with helpful owner, Roger. Building was semi-rural away from the concrete monstrosities, nice looking pool area, car parking available. Excellent base for events at the Autodromo do Algarve. Had to ask for a kettle which was a bit odd!! Nothing to moan about really ;) |
