We also have the Atrium Bar, open daily from 14:00 to 01:00, a lovely way to have a relaxed drink after a busy day.
Another castle of equally Moorish origins, can be seen in Serpa, but the main attraction of this peaceful agricultural town, also known for its cheese, is the Beja gate: huge walls toppedd by an aqueduct. Serpa stands near the Spanish border and, as this region was once disputed both from the Moors and the Spaniards, there are several watchtowers and fortresses along the hills.
The vineyards around Vidigueira announce its position as a centre of wine production, the Alentejo offers several fine quality wines.
Mértola is another place to visit. this small town is a sort of museum, exhibiting discoveries from different eras in separate areas, from the Phoenicians to the Romans and, specially, the Moors. In the present day, Mértola represents also the possibility to have to have an unforgettable ride in the Guadiana river, or to taste some local specialities such as the lamprey.

It was a convenient location for visiting major tourist attractions. Easy walking distance to the inner city ,good parking facility and close to a super market and gas station. |

Gostei do pequeno almoço Os quartos no mês de Novembro estavam gelados; as almofadas existentes eram muito "granulosas", baixas e duras mas após solicitação mudaram-nas para umas bastantes confortáveis. A água do chuveiro na parte da manhã não tinha qualquer pressão e o banho tornava-se um sacrifício e isto ocorria tanto no 1º andar como no último, um 3º andar. |

Os corredores do hotel no piso 1 cheiravam um pouco a humidade, as paredes tinham pequenos focos de humidade junto ao chão que deveriam de ser reparados. |

Da localização, da delicadeza e simpatia dos seus colaboradores, do asseio e arrumo do quarto, da higiene no WC, com mudança de toalhas diáriamente, do bufett ao pequeno almoço. A fraca insonorização entre os quartos, que perturba quem deseje descansar mais um pouco. O acesso à garagem ser feito pelo lado posterior, mas com obrigatoriedade de ser pedido directamente na recepção a cada entrada. Com chuva torna-se bastante complicado. |

Het onthaal was zeer goed.Het hotel was heel proper, de ligging was net goed: : voldoende dicht bij het centrum (te voet) en dicht bij het openbaar zwembad ( uitstekend). Het ontbijt was heel goed. |
