öNskan att vara designhotell går lite för långt. Orolig tapet I restaurangen och för ödsligt och kalt på vissa ytor för att vara trivsamt. Inredarna verkar inte ha någon koll på hur man ljussätter miljöer för att göra dem trevliga -kallt och felaktigt ljus I de gemensamma utrymmena.

Good rooms, beds and spa ... but most great surfing @ surrounding beaches

Hotel staff could be more friendly

I liked the beautiful sea view from the room window and balcony. The food was great as was the service.

The cheesy music that was often playing in the lounge area.

The decoration and general atmosphere was extremely pleasant. The rooms are small, but cosy and very well cleaned. The lounge room is an excellent place to relax or work. It was too cold to try the exterior swimming pool but it looked fantastic. The breakfast is excellent and the view from where it is served is very nice. Breakfast until 11.00 AM is also a plus.

We booked specifically a room with sea view and were checked-in a room mostly land-view (at least 4/5). A huge disappointment as the beautiful sea view advertised was what mainly attracted us to Memmo Baleeira. The hotel was full and when we complained, the reception clerk offered another room (the only one that had not been checked-in yet that day), but it was a twin-room, not a double room. We declined the change for that reason. However there was zero effort to change us to a better room the following night (it was a 2-night stay).The reservation was made 1 month before and there were nonesoever "warnings" of being the last rooms, so I don't understand this hotel policy. I would have if it had been a last minute or last rooms reservation. It was not the case.

The hotel was very attractive and the rooms were very comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We found that the food was very good and reasonably priced. We also enjoyed being able to use the bicycles to ride around the town and out to the lighthouse. It was a wonderful trip.

Some Staff were a little off-hand, rooms didn't have supplies you'd expect from a 4 star, hotel wasn't very secure, Spa was v.mediocre, no internet in room

Great staff, great location Sagres (a minute's walk away from the village), great facilities, gorgeous modern interior, excellent spa, beautiful outdoor and indoor pools. This hotel is also great for kids. The breakfast was excellent as well.

It's quite far from everywhere else in the Algarve.

Beautiful sea view! Waking up with sun rise is a life time experience! Excellent breakfasts and soft towels... Very friendly stuff.

We thought the view was great. The rather small room did have a large storage closet, but not much place to put things down in the room. The air conditioner worked very well, and the bed was very comfortable. The lady in the spa was especially nice and helpful, and the housekeeping staff was great. There was nothing significantly wrong with this hotel. I would recommend this hotel if you can get a good deal on the price.

I know they have recently renovated and they are trying to be more of a "design" hotel, but the room size was small, and the design concept, which was more interesting in the public spaces, was boring in the room. The hotel had kind of an antiseptic feel to it. I thought the front desk staff was a bit stiff.

We stayed at the Memmo Baleeira for 4 nights end of September and spent a really good time there. Nice personnel, clean and spaceious rooms with a nice view on the port and the ocean. We enjoyed the sun rise in the moring on the breakfast terrace. Food was also excellent. We had lunch and dinner almost very day in the hotel. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind for a longer weekend and to relax in the sun!
