This hotel is very well located. Our room was very comfortable, good space and a small fridge. Air conditioning is working well. It's quiet at night so we got very good nights sleep.
Overall the quality was good.
The location is very good
It does not have as high standard as other Mercure Hotels I have stayed in. (for example Mercure in Nijmegen-Netherlands) Rooms are very small and furniture is old. The door of wardrobe was not working properly since it is really old.
Location, very clean & comfortable rooms & friendly staff.
Rooms very warm & adjusting temperature it made no difference. Bar service was slow.
Good Location, polite and helpful staff, efficient service, good breakfast, clean room and facilities.
rooms are small but understandable in the middle of city.
It was in the middle of the city close to shopping and some of the many city sites. Internet wifi the best of all hotels on 3 week trip. Staff so nice Room very clean
Room tiny Old carpet, tired bed spread Window drape thick and bulky, not allowing window to open Internet price thru book it more expensive than walk in price Needs better tasting coffee
Good location....Helping stuff. .all was good..
I requested early check in a month in advance. on arrival, this was not ready and had not been actioned by the hotel staff. They did not think to contact me within the entire month before my stay and instead blamed Booking.com staff for not contacting them. They obviously do not care about their customers and do not read emails. Not worth the price.
Hotel is of good quality, as expected of any international chain. Modern, clean accommodations and convenienent to touring Porto by foot or on a hop on hop off bus with a stop right by the front door.
POOR REPLACEMENT OF TEA & COFFEE ITEMS IN ROOM EACH DAY
Right by the shopping centre and with 100 meters of the top of the funicular this is a really convenient hotel. Don't bother with breakfast at 11 Euros, there are nearby coffees offering coffee and croissant for under 2 Euros.
Our first floor room had the shutters closed so there was no natural light and we had no idea about the weather.
The location is very good really near to the train station and you can walk to most of the city attractions. Also the breakfast is really good.
Rooms very small and not what you can expect for a 4stars mercure hotel.
mattresses quality low
Friendliness of staff, comfort and quality of room facilities, cleanliness location and especially a complimentary bottle of champagne and cake for my birthday which was a lovely surprise
Not enough coat hangers - only two for trousers and three for all other clothing. Insufficient for two people for a four night stay
Everything about it was good.
Bed was not very supportive, but I have a bad back, so a little more sensitive to bed quality.
Location good, room very comfortable, good value breakfast.hotel well maintained.
Poor security in reception- lots of beggars outside and no checks made on who is coming and going. Very poor experience on checkout- very transactional with no check that we had enjoyed our stay or had any issues whilst at the hotel
streets not very clean some dodgy people hanging around at night
The location is the best thing in this hotel, near the station and there are bars and restaurants very close. The staff is very nice. The hotel is clean.
The roon service food is not the best thing. The room we stayed was very small.
The little port hole windows with views over Porto
Everything we had a super room tea and coffee making facility execellent breakfast and the most friendly and efficent staff would recomend to anyone
view from the rooftop (especially at night) perfect location (in the city center)
not enough parking spaces (reserve a parking place in advance)
The location was right in the central shopping district, was a 5 minute walk to both the Metro and train stations, and 10 minutes to the river front. The hotel was clean, the service friendly, our room (501) was large and was quiet, and the continental breakfast was abundant and well supplied.
Nothing really. It was a great value for money, and we enjoyed our 5 day 4 night stay
Location of Hotel was close to Train Station, main shopping strip and in walking distance of city centre. Staff were professional and friendly
The whole place
Having to leave.
