I loved the location. It was perfect. You can walk to the castle, the shopping area and the bars and restaurants. I didn't like the breakfast. |

The excellent location in the center. Perfect view on the square. Easy to reach by bus (44, 91) from the airport; should be more prominently advertised. Slightly noisy from the square. |

Very centrally located near lots of interesting things. Tatty -- ripped and stained carpet, looks like it really needs a re-do! Beds are like sleeping on lumber. |

The concierge was very informed and answered questions very accurately. All staff were very professional. It is centrally located right in Rossio Square. Although this area is very lively during the day, it is very quiet at night, so it is easy to get a good night sleep. There was a rather disgusting smell in the hallway on my floor. It smelled like sewage. I only stayed at the hotel for three days, but if I had to stay longer, I would have asked to switch rooms or leave the hotel and that is unfortunate. |

Total satisfaction on every level. I am writing this on behalf of Erwin Zicker to whom I recommended the hotel having stayed for a weekend recently. I questioned Mr Zicker on his return to my house and he was completely happy with his stay. He has now returned to Canada. I shall certainly stay at Metropole on any future visits to Lisbon.
