Very beautiful view from the window, large balcony.

Room under the restaurant extremely noisy due to chairs squeaking above as moved by the guests. The room was not as beautiful as the picture would have you believe. The double bed consisted of two single beds joined together, which isn't comfortable for couples.

we found the hotel staff and our room excellent, but with very poor entertainment we found it to long a stay as did all the other guests. as all the other places like the strip and most of the old town were closed in the nights, most of the guests went to there rooms as the hotel had little to offer in entertainment, last i put down no to web site account as the hotel is in need of a refurb

We booked a one room studio for only 14 euro a night/98 euro for the week total for the two of us so no complaints from us! Room 324a had a ocean view and Monica Isabel is pretty well between old town and the strip. We didn't have any meals there so can't comment on that. It is on a hill so we got lots of hill walking in. The beach is just a few minutes walk down where there is a restaurant/cafe. We noticed some people hung out there all day reading or lounging as there are loungers there for hire. It might take 20 min to walk up the beach to old town. Very nice location and a great place if you like to hear the ocean as you are right on top of it. We would stay here again for the location and value.

friendly staff, lovely room with beautiful view

No English tv.. apart from sky... I am by myself and here in the Algarve for a long time so need some tv company!

interesting multi-level design layout. Superb location. Idyllic views from restaurant. conveniently close bars, snack bars and mini- supermarkets. Size and configuration of room(s) together with balconies.

Breakfast menu was repetitive, rarely offering bacon and most times offering a sort of tasteless cheeseless quiche which was composed of egg binding together leftover veg which would have been better recycled as a minestone soup. There was a smell of dampness when entering the main block which I suspect was caused by a failure in the air extraction system from the bathrooms leaving a problem of dampness. We had problems with mini mosquitos which seemed to emanate from within the bathroom and all of us suffered with itching bites and spots despite dusting the rooms with fly killer several times. I suspected that these mosquitoes bred within the residual dampness of the failed extraction system hence their persistence. Uncomfortable mattress

The rooms were not clean and the water was cold before one ended shower No cooking facility appart from 2 rings no kettle had to boil water in sauspan a microwave would have been good but alas not even one of them

Good location. Not too far from the Albufeira centre. Close to the beach. Kitchennette!

Strange system of housekeeping. They were knoking at our door at 9am while we were asleep. Towels were changed in some strange order: 2 sets of towels 1 day and missing towels another day. And HUGE insects in apartments!

excellent location right on the beach between Oura and the centre. The apartments are a wiser choice than the hotel.

we liked the separate living and sleeping quarters, and the rate was quite reasonable, we also enjoyed the view from our room

the room needs a tea kettle, and extra towels, including beach towels for international travellers, also the tv was quite small

The location was great and the studio quite spacious. Great that it was on the beach.

we were directly below the breakfast room and it was impossible to sleep after about 7am when preparations for breakfast started above us..The reception staff were curteous and professional but cpould have been friendlier.
