Monte Santo Resort

The resort was excellent ,the services were excellent but I would suggest some further cleaning to the apartments such as the top of bedside lockers and tables which were left dirty. Perhaps bbq facilities could be made available at each villa.

The waiters never smiled.

The standard of construction and finishes was very good and well furnished. The houses were also spacious and all was well maintained and the staff werer attentive. It was the first year of operation so things were to some extant getting organised but overall very good experience.

Great facilities, especially pools.

Was nowhere near a beach, not walking distance of town, very poor concierge service.

The hotel manager is excellent and his staff are hard working, although the hotel is rated at 5* its not just there yet, the manager and team will suceed and make a top hotel and resort in time.

I felf our comfort and general ease were the staff's main priority. The standard of accommodation in terms of fittings etc was of a really high quality and the fact that the rooms were serviced so often and so well was a bonus. The facilities e.g swimming pools, dining room etc were really nice and meticulously clean.

Not really other than the fact that the internet connection in the apartments only worked for the first few days even though I paid for it for a week. However, wireless internet was available in the clubhouse itself.

The town houses are fantastic, the scenery is great and it's very quiete everywhere (even at the pool). Excellent accomodation inside and outside.

Our (private) pool wasn't working but we've used the one from the other twonhouses, which was ok.

The hotel needs an onsite market, as you have to get a taxi to the nearest shop

Champagne reception on arrival in hotel is lovely. The luxurious rooms and relaxed feel. Food Delicious. It is a beautiful resort, would definitely go back.

Not fast enough service in the Restaurant in evening even though it was very quiet. A bigger choice of menu would be ideal to encourage people to eat more often. After 5 nights it gets a bit samey. Theres no mini market to buy snacks and refreshments (water being main one), too expensive to buy from bar all day. No local beer on draught left so started to pay up to £6 for one bottle.

Fantastic! The staff were always on hand with a smile and the restort itself was amazing.

Not really a dislike, but I would have expected free wireless internet in the appartments.
