Four Views Monumental Lido (ex-Hotel Monumental Lido)

Hotelli sijaitsi keskeisellä paikalla ja siitä oli hyvät kulkuyhteydet keskustaan ja muuallekin. Allasalue oli siisti ja sopi 3 (2 v.-8 v.) lapselle hyvin. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja kohteliasta ja puhuivat englantia.

Huoneessa oli jotakin hyönteisiä.

It was exactly as I expected and more. Very good location with all tourist services at your dorstep and the sea just 300 m down the street. Make sure to ask for a sea view and a room on level 4 or up while booking. The other rooms could be too close to the street or too dark

Position was excellent, very convenient for local amenities. Room very comfortable

I was taken aback when I asked for additional coffee/tea supplies to be told that I would have to pay for them, only the first supply for one cup was supplied free. This is penny pinching of the highest order and was an unnecessary way to lose goodwill.

Good location, not far from shopping, beach, restaurants. Free parking.

The hotel had everything you could ask for if you want to have a nice vacation.

Clean and comfortable, helpful staff, good live music most evenings. Well positioned for getting into Funchal by walking or bus.

We are a family of 4, with a kid aged 7 and another aged 4. We stayed in a studio and room had 1 big bed and 1 small bed, good for all of us but not too much space to move around. Toilet was big, breakfast was good. Eventhough a lot of people complain about BF variety I think it was quite good. Very convenient with shops and restaurants around.Very near to the local Lido natural swimming pool. Lots of public transportation to take you to city centre. Very easy to find. Staff helpful to arrange taxi and car rental. Very good stay.

First time that I stayed at a portuguese hotel and I found it strange that they don't have somebody to take the bags, but it was ok.

Excellent location for all kinds of the trips. Very fair price for what you get .

Kitchen staff( by the breakfast) have very loudy cleaned already used plates from the tables behind the tourists, they let their trolies with dirty dishes near by the fresh bread etc.

Junior Suite had very good facilities, was very modern and spacious although balcony rather small. Suite was immaculately cleaned each day.

Dinner in the restaurant was rather bland with only one meat course and one fish course to choose from. Breakfast was ok. Evening entertainment was not to our taste more suitable for the over 80s

El desayuno aunque el bufet disponía de variedad de alimentos, estos no eran de buena calidad, y los platos cocinados no estaban bien hechos.
