Hotel Pombeira  

Hotel is rather easy to find, and placed close to the highway. This hotel was a good choice for us as an overnight stop from Madrid to Lisbon by car. The rooms are situated on two floors with ample parking space right in front. Ours was on the first floor with a balcony. Overall it is good value for the price we paid.

The room was a bit cold and we could not figure out how to change the default temperature. However, given that we were travelling at the end of December, this is not unexpected. And then there are extra blankets that one can use.

There was no armchair or sofa where to recline and rest after a working day, we have to seat on the bed with the back against the vertical wood bed top. Could have a covered garage or at least a shade for the car in both winter arshness and summer infernos.

This is the fourth time we have booked this hotel, it is a fantastic stop over to our property in algarve from Santander. We have two dogs which are allowed at the hotel and it is located quite conveniently just off the motorway.

Very nice and friendly staff. Free internet in the bar area. Large and comfortable suite with a refrigerator in the room. Peace and quiet at night. Very nice breakfast.

The beds were as hard as rocks! It was very difficult to find the hotel, and we had to stop and ask a few times in spite of having a gps.

Very large room. Very confortable. The room is huge.

Shower water is not very hot... Acceptable but not hot.

It was very reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bar was very nice with very reasonably priced drinks. The location was just off the motorway with ample parking.

The hotel does not have a restaurant but there is a restaurant withing two minutes walk. However when we asked when we arrived at what time the restaurant opened the hotel staff said it was open all day - so at 6.30 we went to the restaurant only to be told it didn't open until 8.30. As the location is out of town (approx 6 miles)there is no other restaurants so you are captive.

Nada a destacar. Trata-se de um hotel normal para a categoria em que se insere.

A limpeza do quarto. Ao abrir a cama foi encontrada uma centopeia agarrada ao cobertor. Por motivos de má convivência com este tipo de animais, fui obrigado a sacrificá-la. Após entregar a alma ao criador, o insecto ficou no chão do quarto de modo a ser encontrado pela empregada de limpeza. Este episódio não seria determinante para a má nota atribuída á limpeza, pois todos nós sabemos que mesmo com muito cuidado, não é possível controlar as movimentações desta bicheza. A má nota advém do facto seguinte à descoberta do animal, ou seja, para ter certeza que o bicho era o único exemplar dentro do quarto, efectuei uma revista à cama e debaixo da mesma. E foi aqui (debaixo da cama), que encontrei uma quantidade de lixo, que me fez crer que a última vez que aquele local foi limpo, foi quando a cama ali foi colocada. Tal facto é contrário às normas mínimas de higiene em qualquer local, e em especial num hotel. Para os mais curiosos, que estarão a perguntar sobre o destino final do bicho, posso lhes dizer que o relatado acima, ocorreu na primeira de duas noites que passei no hotel, e que na segunda noite o bicho tinha sido removido do local, paz à sua alma.

Apesar de se apresentar como Hotel não e é, na realidade é um Motel. Boas condições de higiene e quartos agradáveis. Fica realmente muito próximo do centro histórico da Guarda (cerca 8km), distancia essa que se faz em 5 minutos de automóvel. Funcionários simpáticos e bastante disponíveis para nos indicar os lugares de maior interesse da cidade. Gostamos bastante.

O quarto nº 03 necessita de 2 lâmpadas: uma junto à escrivaninha e outra dentro do roupeiro onde está o cofre.Tive muita dificuldade em chegar ao Hotel porque não era visível a partir da estrada principal. Não vi nenhum letreiro /placa a indicar o local. Deveria haver uma informação com instruções para utilização do telefone entre quartos. O resto tudo perfeito.

Aparcamiento en la puerta. Limpieza de la habitación. Amabilidad del personal.

Quizás falta algo más de salado en el desayuno, reeemplazar los zumos (sobre todo el de naranja) por producto natural y equipar con un tostador, tomate triturado natural y mantequilla. Aun así, el desayuno es aceptable.

Têm de melhorar a localização no gps porque como está não chega lá

Prima ligging voor de doorreis van de Algarve naar Nederland. Heerlijke grote kamers, met aparte hal. De hond mag gratis mee en kan daar uitgelaten worden. Restaurant om de hoek en een bar. Auto kan voor de deur worden geparkeerd.

Vrij harde bedden. Het hotel ligt iets naar achteren, waardoor het even zoeken is waar men moet zijn. Maar de navigatie bracht ons precies waar we zijn moesten, dus gewoon even uitstappen en goed kijken.
