The hotel is in the center of lisbon, the staff is friendly, the rooms are small but very beautiful.
Everything was totally perfect, helpful staff, excellent, modern room, all famous sights are within easily reachable
Excellent central location, quiet despite location on main road. Excellent and hearty breakfast (esp. custard tarts - still warm) - staff very helpful. Hotel very clean and very recently refurbished.
Minor - could do with more storage space in our room.
location, staff, breakfast, restaurant
not recommended by car, the closest parking garrage 35 EUR / day
Rooms a bit small
It's a 2 minute walk from the metro and really easy to get around just by walking to other parts of the city. Its modern and clean. It has a great restaurant on the mainfloor with a breakfast buffet in the morning with so much selection. But it's really close to so many places that you could go out and eat. The staff is super helpful and wants to make your stay amazing not just in the hotel but anything you need to know about Lisbon.
Nothing, everything was great.
Very central location. Hotel has been recently refurbished to a high standard. attention to detail excellent. Food and drink good value. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The second bedroom to family suite very small.
Excellent location, friendly staff
The location is excellent and the room was very good. The staff is very kind e friendless The breakfast is very good
The telephone was out off order and the bathroom ground not so clean
The hotel is extremely clean, it's located in a perfect spot, right in the middle of everything, the food is great, the staff is very helpful (speaks english and french). I'd go back there without a doubt and definitely recommend this hotel to anybody.
There's nothing I didn't like about this hotel.
Great location. It's easy to get from here to any part of Lisbon. Breakfast was good. Staff were very professional and eager to help.
Staff isn't really trained to give restaurant recommendations in a large city such as Lisbon.
The location was excellent, rooms nice modern and clean and staff friendly
The breakfast is simply great. The location of the hotel is very convenient.
The rooms are very tiny but i guess that is what you get in such a central location.
Location and helpful staff. Great restaurant on site.
Under 5 mins walk to Metro, tram route and shopping areas. Excellent range of regional dishes and one of the best breakfasts we've had in hotels for years. Staff are superb.
the staff were very friendly and super helpful and although the room was small it was very cute
Great downtown location and nicely styled. Friendly and helpful staff. Looked like a good breakfast though we had to leave early for the airport.
Well soundproofed and shutters cut street light but a busy city centre street made it hard to open the window.
The breakfasts were always very good. The receptionists were very friendly and well informed. Very clean and comfortable.
The room was a little bit small/ cramped. Mattresses were a little bit soft.
The location of the hotel is very good. It is literally in the heart of Lisbon. The breakfast was also very nice and healthy with a lot of fruits. There were several electricity plugs in the room, which I found very convenient. The room was cleaned and towels were changed every day.
I did not like the attitude of the reception personnel who pushed to give us a twin room instead of a double room even though I specifically booked a double. Moreover, the room was on the 5th floor and with a descending ceiling; thus, it was very difficult to move around in the already tiny room.
Very nice staff, and very hulpfull. One friendly guy (too bad I forgot his name) even walked with me a couple of blocks to show me the taxistand, those things make the difference. Modern rooms, and very good location. Evererything within walking distance. Rooms are not very big, but good value. Book it!
Hotel Ouro is centrally located in the Baxio District, about four blocks from the river, a block over from the big shopping street, and a 15 minute walk up to the cathedral (Se) and castle. Rooms are small, but nicely done in a restrained Scandinavian style. The street front is noisy, but the double pane windows keep are remarkable effective in keeping it out.
A little pricey, breakfast not included.
I walked by this hotel and was drawn to its boutique and individual style. I found a good deal online including breakfast and felt so at home as soon as I walked on the door, I was needing help with a tour to Fatima, they helped me out by referring me to a new company Hello tours. I had a compact but stylish immaculately clean room on the first floor. It had a tiny balcony but was wonderful for taking in the feel of Lisbon. Air- conditioning, shower and bed were wonderful. The bar/ restaurant is run by a different group but they were equally as welcoming, especially as I was a single traveller. Breakfast was plentiful with delicious fresh fruit, yoghurt as well as eggs bacon and musgrooms. I loved my stay and would definitely return.
Location was excellent for access to city centre and for transportation to elsewhere. Although in centre, room was quiet. Only ate their breakfasts which were very good. The very enthusiastic barman. Although slightly small, the room was comfortable.
The bar stock was limited, e.g. no Chivas Regal, The Glenlivet Scotch Whiskies and no Plymouth or Beefeater Gin.
Great location ! Walked through Chiado and Alfama. Also rua Liberdade. Close to Praca Commercial and a subway station. Close to very good restaurants. Good breakfast and lunch or dinner when we were too tired to go out.
A little noisy in late evening since we slept with balcony door open.
