Hotelets läge är fantasitiskt. Det ligger i spännande historiska kvarter med många små affärer och barer inom nära gångavstånd. Samtidigt har många rum en fantastisk utsikt över Lissabon. Kanske att man varit lite för ivrig att modernisera hotellet. Borde mer spela på en interiör som harmoniserar med att man ligger i ett väldigt traditionellt område |

Bra läge, fin utsikt. trevliga omgivningar. Inte alls så farligt branta backar som många har tyckt Möjligen att det fanns för få frukostbord |

Staff very helpful, clean room but the ad in Booking.com led me to expect a fantastic terrace for breakfast, overlooking the city ...this is not true. Very difficult to find the hotel. Despite the apparent 50% discount online, other major international hotels offered better offerings on the ground that included car parking and internet. There was no focal point within the hotel in the evening. Close to the Castle which is a great tourist location with fantastic views. 1) Location ...very difficult to get to with a car 2) the presentation on booking.com over stated the terrace for breakfast overlooking the city ...this is not true 3) the lobby area needs to have a more focal point, nothing to do in the evening 4) pricing not competitive with the more modern hotels in the center of the city. |

This is a quiet hotel and you need to be fit to negotiate the steep hills around the area. It is a little isolated from the centre, and at night the roads are a little dark and narrow. The nearest tram stop is 300 metres from the hotel. Because of its location, and the cobbled streets, this hotel is not suitable for disabled people, and couples with children in push chairs. |

The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was well positioned with lovely views over the city No outside area. ie garden, where you could sit and relax in the sun. The balconies did not get thesun owing to the time of year as it was too low |

excellent view, medieval neighbourhood, very quiet and relaxing the bed was uncomfortable. .cut/trim the shrubs on the balcony so that the view can be enjoyed |

Amazing view of Lisbon city from my spacious balcony! Glad there was a small parking garage for the car. Front desk very helpful. Nice breakfast before touring the beautiful area and the castle, which was walking distance. |

The size and quality of the rooms. Greatly lacking in atmosphere. Bar area doubled as breakfast room. Poor quality of cooked breakfast. Some staff unwelcoming. On a very busy narrow street. A long drag up steep hill/steps from centre. Felt it was over-priced. |

It was luxurious.The staff were lovely ,breakfast delicious & great value.Book a room with a terrace overlooking Lisbons old quarter.Great location but you must be fit for the hills! |

Clean and quiet rooms and common areas. Breakfast was included and great. Had nice long hours so one could eat late. Staff helpful with directions. Great views overlooking city of Lisbon. Wifi was only available in some common areas and required an awkward passcode system. |

The hotel was fabulous, in a quiet area of Lisbon away from the noise and traffic but only 10 minutes walk from Rossio Square. The staff were excellent especially Goreia on reception who made some fabulous restaurant recommendations, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice to suit all tastes. Hotel was modern and comfortable, bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. Views from our room were fantastic, very convenient for the castle. Hotel at the top of a hill but reception staff could order a taxi to pick up within 5-10 minutes for those not so keen on walking. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back there again in the future. |
