Luna Olympus

First of all look for the hotel Olympus. It is not Luna Olympus. The hotel offers a great location in the centre of Valmoura which was an ideal location for us. We hired a car and drove around the Algarve. Recommend a visit to Silves and Alte with all its narrow streets and charm. The hotel is close to the marina, shops, restaurants, golf courses and the coast. All the hotel staff were welcoming and very helpful and spoke English. The breakfast had a good variety. The room size was plentiful and had sufficient cutlery and crockery if you wanted to dine in. Our room had a balcony with some views. Our room had a sofa bed in the main room which we only used as a couch. However this was not very comfortable. A safe deposit box is available at 1.5 Euro's per day (Jan 2010). Overall we had a great experience through our six day stay and would return and recommend Olympus Hotel and Valmoura.

Excellent location, near the Marina and Beach. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good choice for breakfast.

The hotel is disappointing. We expected 4 star but I'd rate it as 2. The decor is tired in the reception areas and the air con didn't work properly in our apartment for the first 4 days. Breakfast was ok but didn't vary very much. Overall, the impression you get is that the Olympus rests on its laurels owing to its central position. It is very overpriced so look around before you book.

Hotel algo velho e a necessitar urgentemente de uma remodelação. A relação qualidade /preço é algo exagerada. Parec.e-me que a classificação de 4 estrelas é exagerada. As toalhas de banho necessitam de uma renovação urgente. A necessitar de mais cuidados com a manutenção. No meu caso a sanita da casa de banho estava solta o que introduzia um cheiro a esgoto desconfortável, durante a noite.

Localização/ vista maravilhosa; pequeno almoço

Alguma negligência ao nível da manutenção, nomeadamente no que se refere ao carrinho de aperitivos/bebidas existente na varanda: completamente oxidado com a tinta a sair às placas

Excelente localização e uma vista espectacular.

Necessita de remodelação não parece um empreendimento de 4*. Limpeza dos quartos muito fraca. Ar condicionado funciona mal. As espreguiçadeiras da piscina estão mto sujas.O tempo para o pequeno almoço podia ser alargado e as funcionárias deveriam ter menos pressa em fechar a porta.

O apartamento que nos foi atribuído, era excelente. Enorme varanda com mesa de jantar e sofás....Muito agradável.

O pequeno almoço poderia se mais variado.
