It could be a little dated but its charm and location compensate for that!

Staff very helpful. Great location. Booked apartment with breakfast for 3 people. Lots of space with good big living room cum kitchen area. We had 2 bedrooms and pull out beds in living area. Big fridge and hob and microwave if you wanted to cook plenty of delph and cutlery we did not want to cook as the restuarants were fab. great location with all of the golf courses nearby. about 7 restaurants around the apartment. Must mention Lizzy's bar. We had fun there. Hi Lizzy Breakfast was ok. Plenty to eat. Nice clean pool at rear of hotel. Lifts a bit noisy but three of them and you never had to wait.Would definitely go back there. Just a few min walk to a lovely beach and Marina with lovely restaurants and pubs and great night life.Thank you Luna Olympus and Villamoura. See you soon. Joan from Co. Sligo

Lack of wifi in the rooms. However, it is freely available in the common places.

THe staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good even the 'English' choices. Hotel very close to Marina and some excellent restaurants. I had booked a room with a Marina view but it came evident on our first full day that the balcony would never get the sun - we asked to move to a room at the rear of the hotel and the staff facilitated this within 24hours. The new apartment was excellent and we managed several hours each day sitting on the balcony reading and soaking up the lovely sun.

The 1 bed apartment on 7th floor had wonderful view to marina and beach, from the lounge and bedroom, and it was huge about 100m2, fully fitted out. It also looked renovated, all furniture and kitchen looked new. Waking up to the view of the marina was great Although it was winter and I didn't use the pool, it looked really great for the summer. Breakfast was pretty good, the standard 4 star things - perhaps the fruit juice should be natural. I had read some not-too-good reviews but I have only good things to say. The views....wow!!! (So did my camera which flew 5 floors off the balcony....he he he)

I liked the location of the hotel! It was perfect for getting to the Marina and the beach! The apartments were very spacious and clean! The reception staff were very nice and helpful!

A relaxed no nonsense stay using the facilities to cook own meals occasionally to keep cost down. The location above the exciting marina with all the bars and restaurants on offer was ideal for us.

First of all I must say that in January, the price for this hotel was very competitive. The rooms are big, and the comfort is reasonable. It is a very short distance to the marina (1 minute maximum), and there are various options for restaurantes and bars. In all, at this time of the year, this was very good value for money.

In January, there is very little going on in Vilamoura. Many restaurantes were closed, and even the service in the hotel was down to a minimum. Bar closed at 17h00, and breakfast was poor.
