Oporto Poets Hostel

Central location, friendly staff, nice and comfortable beds. The common area is very new and clean, and nicely designed. The offered dinners are quite good quality, although maybe just a little too expensive by Portugal standards.

From the first moment everything was great. The recepcionist offered me a different room, because in one that i booked was 'a lot of noisy people'. And she was right! I got all information i needed about the place and transport and everithing i asked. Also breakfast was very good. And hot pie! it was a very good experience.

The location is very good, just near Sao Bento station. The atmosphere was very relaxing, the separate house with private rooms is very silent and the fornitures are very nice! The view from the window was amazing!!

I liked that it has everything, it was not expensive, they were supernice and the activities were awesome ( Henrique is a verrrry good leader! ).

Loved the whole stay especially Henriqurs' walking tours and the wonderful staff. Much apprechiated :)

Zeer goede keuze voor een lang weekend of een week. Aan de rand van het centrum (studentenwijk) en nog gratis kunnen parkeren. Waar vindt je dat nog in grote steden. Alles was goed tot zeer goed maar wij hebben uitzonderlijk genoten van de twee rondleidingen (2 thema's/2,5 tot 3 uur) door Porto onder leiding van Henrique. Hij vertelde met groot enthousiasme en deskundigheid over zijn stad Porto. Tot onze verbazing waren deze ook nog eens gratis. Gelukkig wilde hij wel met ons de koffie nuttigen in het mooiste koffiehuis van Porto. Dus rondleidingen zeker doen. Prima keuken faciliteiten, heerlijk geslapen. Wij hadden een kamer met een prachtig uitzicht over Porto en op de kathedraal (voor in de avond als deze wordt uit gelicht). Wij komen zeker nog een keer in een zomermaand terug dan kunnen we ook heerlijk genieten van de binnentuin.

Niet echt storend maar: - er waren wat problemen met het sanitair maar die werden op de dag van ons vertrek opgelost. - ontbijt was voor onze begrippen wat karig vooral brood en zoetigheid. Dus neem vooral je eigen ei, kaas en ham mee als je van hartigheid bent.

Todo está más que bien.

La casa en donde están las habitaciones privadas es una maravilla de lugar.

El personal - todos encantadores. Nos han dado consejos para cada tontería que les hemos preguntado. El hostal, una maravilla, con la magia de un edificio antiguo y todo el confort que puedes necesitar y el cuarto muy confortable, amplio, calentito, con una cama gigantesca y vistas brutales. Me hubiese quedado un viaje más.

a decoração é absolutamente maravilhosa! As camas são muito confortáveis, o banheiro tem um bom chuveiro, e é bem limpo. Tudo ótimo!

L'accueil, la gentillesse, une très belle cuisine très bien équipée pour se faire des plats. Bien situé pour les principales curiosités. Bonne literie et propreté.

Le local des sanitaires trop froid pour y prendre une douche: à peine 15°

Mi è piaciuta l'atmosfera accogliente e giovanile. La posizione centrale e facilmente raggiungibile. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottima. Tutto lo staff cortese e disponibile.

Un po' freschine le stanze, ma abbiamo soggiornato a gennaio quando il clima non è dei più favorevoli. Accesi i caloriferi al nostro arrivo, comunque, dopo un po' si stava bene.

le chauffage est un peu faible mais il ya de nombreuses couvertures. Ce n'est pas un problème reel.

L'accueil est très sympathique, personnel nombreux et "familial", la situation centrale dans le quartier historique. Grande et belle chambre avec 3 fenêtres.

L'état du quartier aux alentours, en pleine rénovation, qui évoquait plus un après-bombardement. La chambre était un peu fraîche : un ou 2 degrés de plus n'auraient pas fait de mal. Dans la chambre, la porte des toilettes ne fermait ni de l'intérieur, ni de l'extérieur. Et le nécessaire pour le petit-déjeuner, insuffisant ou ne fonctionnant pas très bien (grille-pain) nous a conduit à aller le prendre ailleurs.

Leuk ingericht, midden in de stad, super uitzicht over de stad!

In Portugal hebben huizen geen cv, dus in de winter moet je in de keuken je jas echt aanhouden.

Tout était très très bien, l'hôtel comme le personnel. En plus il y avait un cuisinier (merci encore José) qui venait nous faire à manger sur place, pour la modique somme de 8 € par personne, dès qu'il y avait au moins trois amateurs. Nous n'avons passé qu'un jour la-bàs, mais c'était parfait.

L'ambiance conviviale et le confort.

La cosa che mi è piaciuta di più è stata l'atmosfera, molto calda e intima grazie a un'azzeccata scelta dell'illuminazione. Le camere sono un po' piccole ma hanno tutto il necessario. Lo staff è disponibile e accogliente e la posizione è ottima, a pochi passi da una delle stazioni metro principali e dal centro della vita notturna.

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux du personnel, la convivialité, la visite du marchà aux puces avec la guide de l'hotel, les repas partagés le soir avec les résidents et personnel: la cuisine était inventive et délicieuse! Nous remercions chaleureusement toutes les personnes qui ont travaillé à l'hotel qt que nous avons cotoyé.

Les réceptionnistes sont adorablent, particulièrement Patricia qui m'a fait visiter la ville, manger des petiscos et écouter du Fado. Un grand Merci à elle! Le petit déjeuner, fruits et gâteau fait maison ! Tout les soirs un repas à 8€ et la journée une activité gratuite. On se sent réellement bien dans cet hostel. Position vraiment idéale pour visiter Porto, et à 150m un bus pour 20€ emmène à Lisbonne.

Una camera è stata venduta con bagno in camera, mentre non c'era. La seconda aveva il bagno, piccolissimo, senza doccia.

Волшебный хостел! Жила в отдельном домике с садом и прекрасным видом на Порту. Кухня со всем необходимым, красивые номера, отличный сигнал wi-fi. Расположение - лучше не придумаешь: самый центр, но тихо. Совсем рядом лавочка с большим выбором овощей-фруктов и портвейна.
