Room facilities & interior Location
Great location. Beautiful room - quaint but modern. Very clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Loved the pound cake. Igor and Joana were very friendly and helpful. A lot of nice personal touches, but at the same time very professional. Loved our stay there. Would stay there again and recommend to others. You need to walk up a number of steps to get to the B&B, so it's good to have small luggage.
Towel rail is too low/close to floor. Water in the shower takes a while to get warm. Lots of dog poop in street outside - but I guess that's Lisbon.
The cosyness, friendly staff and very clean. Everything what you need for a short trip to Lisboa.
Perfect place, but we recommend the place during the week as it might be noisy during the weekends because of party people outside.
The location was excellent, the staff (Joana and Vasco) were super friendly and very knowledgeable about where to go in Lisbon and events which are taking place.Vasco makes a cake every week and as it was my birthday he turned it into a birthday cake! The hotel is in a really busy area and it can be noisy at night in the street but NOT in the rooms because of excellent sound proofing. Room decor was excellent and would thoroughly recommend. I would definitely come back (and hope to do so).
Nothing comes to mind.
Small and friendly with very personal service as only 3 rooms. Contacted us by e mail before we arrived. Breakfast simple but with personal touches - made that day. So close to hundreds of restaurants
All as was great and as described, just good all round
Occasional noisy evening from local bars, the shutters helped but then the ventilation suffered.
A total ten out of ten
Friendly, helpful, and courteous staff, good continental breakfast, value for the money, reasonably good location.
Orange 3 House is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed! A super chic and cozy B&B. There was only 3 rooms, but the room was spacious and clean with simple and modern decoration. I stayed on the third floor, and the view from the window was also nice. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Joana wrapped some breakfast for me because I have to leave early in the morning. Loation: excellent. Near to metro station. I love to stay here again when I visit Lisbon. Highly recommended.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with sightseeing and dining recommendations. Room was huge for a European city and very comfortable. Location is great - near the #28 tram route, the funicular and the Chiado Metro station.
Noise from the party scene at the nearby miradouro on weekend evenings.
1) The staff was great and very helpful. 2) We had the 3rd floor apartment, it had a great view and was very beautiful. 3) Breakfast was a great start of the day.
1) The absence of a balcony so we could sit outside. 2) The hair dryer broke down two days before we left but although we gave the old one in return we never received a new one.
Perfect location, friendly staff, nice comfortable room, delicious breakfast
Too many steps to go to my room, this accommodation is more suitable for younger people
Small B&B. Staff is super attending! Comfortable rooms. Close to center.
Well situated for visiting all the sights in Lisbon and just experiencing the life of the city. Many good value restaurants nearby.
There was quite a lot of noise from people visiting local bars in the early hours on one or two nights, but this didn't detract from our stay.
Fantastic orange cake for the breakfast !
The staff, the central location and the fabulous, comfortable and spacious room.
A coffee machine which makes enough good, coffee for all those having breakfast would be a welcome addition to the breakfast room.
The location was amazing just off the Rua da Bica funicular. Joana was a fund of useful information about where to go and what was open. And our room had a view over the river to the Cristo Rei. And there were oranges on the trees in the street.
To be picky it took us some time (minutes) to work out how to turn the heating on in our room.
Beautiful orange trees in perfect bloom right outside your window. Quirky, quiet neighbourhood. Very conveniently located near a metro stop (Baixa-Chiado). The staff were incredibly friendly.
The staff were really quite friendly, however, I am the kind of person that does not appreciate having to make random conversation at breakfast. The setting of the place does not lend itself to a quiet peaceful breakfast because it is so tiny that staff are literally sat next to you - and will chat you up! This is unfortunate, but does not reflect on the friendliness of staff. On arrival, there was no internet or TV working. This was eventually resolved but I was concerned that the lady in charge suggested this was normal, and some times lasted for 3 days at a time... There are some minor cosmetic details that appear to have been left abandoned. The hair dryer sat on the lower shelf in the bath room. Thing is, it's more of a wet room really as it always floods! This is a health and safety nightmare...
Hotel is in a perfect location. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and at home. Very helpful with sightseeing and dining recommendations. Would highly recommend!
perfect location, very friendly and helpful service
Internet kept on logging me out
I received such a wonderful warm welcome at Orange 3 House, immediately getting some great tips for exploring Lisbon. Amazing location in the middle of Bairro Alto, spacious room, excellent breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff. Ten out of ten!
The owner Igor and staff Vasco and Joanna are amazing and you feel like you are in your own place
Some noise from people outside
Staff are wonderful and have the best advice to see local sights and plan meals. I think it is the best location for walking, close to the old town and also close to trams for touring farther. It has 3 spotlessly clean modern rooms, one on each of three floors! No elevator, if that is a factor in planning, but it is a great place to stay.
Nothing to dislike.
The place was really nice. Staff amazingly friendly and helpful. They gave us their phone numbers in case of any kind of problem we could have during our stay. The room, breakfast (freshly squeezed orange juice!!!) were really great. Everything with the hotel from inside - super. The only problem was to actually get there.
If you go to Lisbon with a car - leave the car before you enter the city!!! Whoever arranged the traffic should be publicly denounced and beaten. No petrol stations, no petrol station working at the time you need one. All this was an obstacle for us to find the hotel. We spent 2 hours and got to the hotel after leaving the car. Then we spent another 2 hours to find a petrol station and a parking (strongly recommend the underground parking next to McDonalds, 22E/24h). It was really hard to find the place even after asking a taxi driver to get us there. Everything else was great!
Owner Igor does all he can to make your stay fun. The B&B is well located, super helpful and friendly staff (Vasco & Joana). Our stay was Great!
Stairs could be a problem for those with knee or foot issues.
