The room was clean. I was deceived. The pictures didnt match the room. At all. It was a decent room - thirty years ago - Ugliest twins rooms ever. If I pay for a 3 star hotel, I except a decent room not a sewer like room. This was the worst place I stayed in Coimbra, and I've been there more than 10 times always on diffrent places. And for that price? Please! It should be at least 20 % to 30% cheaper. Who do you think you are? If I wanted a cheap ugly small room I would pay the price it deserved. But for this? I expected a lot better. So, if you think in coming here, dont. Go check other places. There are at least 2 others nearby.

Location was perfect, close to main train station, busses and taxis. Also close to many city attractions and historical sights. Coffe/tea facilities not available in bedrooms. Batrooms small.

The location was convenient to the train station and walking to shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful. When we arrived we upgraded to a larger room for minimal cost which is recommended as the original room was very small. We enjoyed the breakfast also.

The staff is really halpful and friendly. In 5 minutes, they explained very calmly everything I needed to know about the city. The "fado" program they recommended was incredible. I was offered two different rooms to choose from. Both were really comfortable and clean. Nothing. The hotel is great.

The location is very convenient. The surrounding street doesn't look like much but once you are inside the hotel it is well decorated. We got a room with a nice view of the University. The hotel is very conveniently situated near all the places we wanted to visit and also a nice shopping area. The parking is near the hotel.

- The staff is completely friendly and helpful. They gave us good tips about short trips, restaurants and cafeterias. - The hotel has a safe parking lot for free, including a porter who parks the car for you. - At the roof top there is a bar with a nice view to the University of Coimbra, a historical site. - The hotel is conveniently located close to the main pedestrian street. - Breakfast was ok and included in the price, as well as wi-fi connection. - We stayed in a room with a bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a day's walking and climbing the (nice) steep streets around the country ;-) The hotel is not brand new and the walls were a bit thin, but that was not at all a problem for us. Overall, we would defintely reccoment. Very good value for the money.

Besides the hotel's good location near city center and some touristic atractions, it is located in a busy avenue that generates too much noise on the rooms in that side of the building. The standard room is too small. If you go to this hotel, make sure you get the larger room.

It was good that our car was taken to secure parking, free of charge. The buffet breakfast offerred a good range of cold and warm food. The location of hotel allows for the quick trip to visit ancient site of Conimbriga.

Excellent location, easily accessible, but also right at the edge of the old city. Free parking, which is very unusual for a city center hotel. Hotel had a commercial feel. Breakfasts were fair at best. Hit all of the bases, but quality was not good. Regular coffee was awful, probably instant. Be sure to use only the espresso machine, which uses real coffee, and then dilute as necessary.

Location is good - walking distance to most Coimbra attraction, even with 5 Y.O. child. Receptionist was helpful and explained us (on the map) about attractions, dining etc. Explanations were accurate and useful.

Location, free parking & Wi-fi, friendly & helpfull staff, and good breakfast. The hotel is more like a two stars hotel, Room & bathroom need updating, poor ventilation in bathroom, poor sound proofing, uncomfortable bed, old and small tv.
