The room was clean.

I was deceived. The pictures didnt match the room. At all. It was a decent room - thirty years ago - Ugliest twins rooms ever. If I pay for a 3 star hotel, I except a decent room not a sewer like room. This was the worst place I stayed in Coimbra, and I've been there more than 10 times always on diffrent places. And for that price? Please! It should be at least 20 % to 30% cheaper. Who do you think you are? If I wanted a cheap ugly small room I would pay the price it deserved. But for this? I expected a lot better. So, if you think in coming here, dont. Go check other places. There are at least 2 others nearby.

Good price. Hotel very near to the city centre,

If you arrive by train from some cities to the off-centre-railway station or by bus, you will have a long distance to the hotel. Another train station to some cities lies just very near the hotel. The decor of the room is rather dated. Strong smell of cleaningsoap in the room.

Excellent location. If you booked one the cheaper rooms they are very small but clean for €10 you can get a bigger room. Excellent wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

The location is at the center of the city and the breakfast is just ok.

There is no heating and just air condiotioning.

The staff is really halpful and friendly. In 5 minutes, they explained very calmly everything I needed to know about the city. The "fado" program they recommended was incredible. I was offered two different rooms to choose from. Both were really comfortable and clean.

Nothing. The hotel is great.

The location is very convenient. The surrounding street doesn't look like much but once you are inside the hotel it is well decorated. We got a room with a nice view of the University. The hotel is very conveniently situated near all the places we wanted to visit and also a nice shopping area. The parking is near the hotel.

It's a good, utilitarian hotel with free parking facilities across the street - a plus factor in such a congested city. A bit over-priced for what it offers but not outrageous.

Besides the hotel's good location near city center and some touristic atractions, it is located in a busy avenue that generates too much noise on the rooms in that side of the building. The standard room is too small. If you go to this hotel, make sure you get the larger room.

Nice hotel close to city center & attractions great value for money

Location is good - walking distance to most Coimbra attraction, even with 5 Y.O. child. Receptionist was helpful and explained us (on the map) about attractions, dining etc. Explanations were accurate and useful.
