Hotel Oslo is een particulier hotel dat op 50 meter van het station ligt. Het hotel biedt uitzicht over de stad en haar historische universiteit. Vanuit het hotel direkt in het prachtige oude centrum, flinke klim naar de universiteit met zijn unieke bibliotheek. Terug met de lift die bij de overdekte markt uitkomt. Prettig is de valetservice naar de gratis garage. Standaardaccomodatie is wat aan de kleine kant, maar voor 14 euro een upgrade naar een zeer ruime kamer genomen. Prima ontbijt.

Het hotel is ideaal gelegen voor wie Coimbra wil bezoeken: pal in het centrum, achter het station. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en de kamers zijn schoon. Het ontbijt is ook prima. We betaalden een eerlijke prijs. Een aanrader. Het hotel is ietwat gedateerd en de kamers zijn niet erg groot.

vriendelijk personeel, een goede ligging ten overstaan van de te bezoeken zone in de stad oud en versleten aankleding van de kamer, zeer rumoerige straat in een drukke buurt (auto's, piepende verkeerslichten) en een airco uit luidere jaren. Al bij al een sjofele indruk, zeker geen drie sterren waard.

Zéér vriendelijk personeel. Kleine bar die 's avonds open is. Uitgebreid ontbijt met prachtig zicht op de oude binnenstad! Vlakbij het historisch centrum van Coïmbra. Vlakbij het station van Coïmbra. Het hotel zorgt voor het parkeren van je wagen (kosteloos). Het hotel ligt in een zeer drukke verkeersbuurt. Dit brengt veel lawaai met zich mee.

Good price. Hotel very near to the city centre, If you arrive by train from some cities to the off-centre-railway station or by bus, you will have a long distance to the hotel. Another train station to some cities lies just very near the hotel. The decor of the room is rather dated. Strong smell of cleaningsoap in the room.

Excellent location. If you booked one the cheaper rooms they are very small but clean for €10 you can get a bigger room. Excellent wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

The personel were very friendly and helpful, especially to our little son. We also had a nice room on the 4th floor with nice views on the university and city. Also the free parking possibilities were very useful, especially in the busy city of Coimbra. Breakfast was very nice and complete.

This hotel certainly lived up to the good reviews I read prior ro booking. Very central and the free valet parking was a lovely bonus. Close to shopping, the university and the river. Very good restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable and clean. A large variety of food was available at breakfast. Altogether fantastic value for money. Will stay there again.

The location is at the center of the city and the breakfast is just ok. There is no heating and just air condiotioning.

Location was perfect, close to main train station, busses and taxis. Also close to many city attractions and historical sights. Coffe/tea facilities not available in bedrooms. Batrooms small.

The room was clean. I was deceived. The pictures didnt match the room. At all. It was a decent room - thirty years ago - Ugliest twins rooms ever. If I pay for a 3 star hotel, I except a decent room not a sewer like room. This was the worst place I stayed in Coimbra, and I've been there more than 10 times always on diffrent places. And for that price? Please! It should be at least 20 % to 30% cheaper. Who do you think you are? If I wanted a cheap ugly small room I would pay the price it deserved. But for this? I expected a lot better. So, if you think in coming here, dont. Go check other places. There are at least 2 others nearby.

The staff is really halpful and friendly. In 5 minutes, they explained very calmly everything I needed to know about the city. The "fado" program they recommended was incredible. I was offered two different rooms to choose from. Both were really comfortable and clean. Nothing. The hotel is great.

The location is very convenient. The surrounding street doesn't look like much but once you are inside the hotel it is well decorated. We got a room with a nice view of the University. The hotel is very conveniently situated near all the places we wanted to visit and also a nice shopping area. The parking is near the hotel.

- The staff is completely friendly and helpful. They gave us good tips about short trips, restaurants and cafeterias. - The hotel has a safe parking lot for free, including a porter who parks the car for you. - At the roof top there is a bar with a nice view to the University of Coimbra, a historical site. - The hotel is conveniently located close to the main pedestrian street. - Breakfast was ok and included in the price, as well as wi-fi connection. - We stayed in a room with a bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a day's walking and climbing the (nice) steep streets around the country ;-) The hotel is not brand new and the walls were a bit thin, but that was not at all a problem for us. Overall, we would defintely reccoment. Very good value for the money.

It's a good, utilitarian hotel with free parking facilities across the street - a plus factor in such a congested city. A bit over-priced for what it offers but not outrageous.
