This is an aging mistress who has been made beautiful by excellent staff service. The value added by the services is extraordinary.

Aging hotel that could benefit from a complete makeover.

We got a "superiour room", and we liked it very much! The rooms on the highest floors have private balcony with a nice view of teh city. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the parking service (in nearby palking deck) was excellent.

Actually nothing wrong with us. However, some people might find it too noisy due to the traffic.

Free parking, free wifi, breakfast included, the location just outside the city walls, the staff efficient and even Italian speaking.

A very tired hotel in need of Renervation. They have valet parking - beware the valet damaged my car and I was not told about it. We are touring Portugal and I didn't see the damage until we got to Lisbon. I have emailed the hotel but have got no response from them.

Friendly, sociable staff. Excellent breakfast choices, convenient to train station, taxi stand and buses. (all within 5 minutes or less) Old part of town begins across the street from hotel.

Great place

Hotel Oslo was exactly what we wanted in Coimbra- comfort, convenience and good value. Staff helpful and friendly. (They did a very special service- see end of review). Rooms very clean, comfortable and what I would call quite good budget hotel quality. Decent breakfast. Oslo easily reached on a main street through center of town, often an issue when driving. Upon arrival they valet parked our car in a garage very close by. (You pick it up yourself when leaving.) Very near station if you come by train. Reasonable priced computer access in lobby. Roof bar nice place for drink with view of hill top university. Our room faced street, but traffic noise not a problem. They also did me a special service- when I reached our next destination the following day I found I had forgotten my camera battery charger. I called the Oslo late in the afternoon and they went to the post office and sent it overnight to my next hotel. That was beyond the call of duty.

Though this isn't pervasive and not noticeable at all times, there was a sewer smell coming from the street. Obviously not their fault.

This hotel is just perfectly located to explore Coimbra. 50 steps from the train station, 500 m from the intercity bus station and just in front of the old-town door. This is not the cheapest option, but for sure one of the best quality/cost relation. Strongly recommended for couples.

Wifi was a little iffy but improved after work had been done on it.

Good location - near railway station and closed to historical center. Hotel has its own undergroud parking across the street, cost for parking is included to cost for room. Breakfast is excellent. Hotel staff is very- very helpful and friendly. There is bar on the 5th floor with amazing view to University. It works deep into the night.

Very efficient and helpful staff. The hotel is centrally located and is in front of a public parking lot which is quite convenient. Highly recommended !!

Staff was attentive, professional & accommodating. On the last day I was able to leave my car in the Park till 7:00 P.M. without any extra charge.

Amazing location - near train, just in a historical part of a city, wonderful sfaff, very good price, clean and cosy. Staff was great, very willing to help.

Orange juice at the breakfast - I missed natural one. A bar with beautiful view needs more heating during winter time.
