It was awesome! Very cosy, lots of space, a nice view to Tejo, the apartment was decorated with excellent taste. Very clean, large bathroom with bidet. Kitchen very well equipped. No noise coming from the crowded street. It was really nice that we stayed in the last floor, in a duplex apartment. There's a supermarket in zero floor. Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré are really close, with restaurants and pubs everywhere. Shopping and subway access in Chiado are also very close to the apartments. No staff: everything controlled via codes. Fantastic!!! Loved it!
It was a pity we stayed in the apartment right in front of the elevator. Quite early in the morning there was people making noise in the corridor, kids running and we couldn't sleep that well… Another thing that failed was the lack of light in the bathroom: there was only one lamp in the ceiling for that huge bathroom; even though we had an enormous mirror, for make-up it turned really challenging.
Great location and perfect set up for family with young kids, including fully-equipped kitchen
Strong sewer smell in the bathroom
Good location but very hilly when walking nice views of sea bright apt quite comfortable taxi service at end of street handy for airport
Bathroom very dark could be updated a little a bit noisy at night with tram noise
Security was great. The modern style of our apartment was just right. We had a twin bed room for 2px and a double bedroom upstairs. The size of the apartment would also accomodate 6 persons. There was a dining area and living room combined and the kitchen was already supplied with a few basics such as dishwash, salt, pepper and sugar. The kitchen was a modern style with equiped with plates, utensils, pots, glasses. All you need to do is buy what you want from the small Dia supermarket and bread from the bakery all within 5 mins. There was also a daily cleaning service. Great for our family stay. The electric tram is right outside the main door. So easy to move around the city. Buy the red day passes you will get discounts on some of the sites. Everyone speaks English. Wonderful for those who don´t speak Portuguese or Spanish
The entrance is shared with the local Camoes Library. I think this is why the entrance to the apartments could not be better presented. But the historical building and ceiling is fabulous.
The apartment, the view. The beds
Not enough kitchen equipment (salad bowls, glasses, cups, knifes, forks etc)
the water during the night didn't get properly hot
No lights in hallway going down stairs. Sometimes poor internet quality
Lovely location, nice to be able to go back during the day to drop things off / have a rest from sightseeing.
Not enough crockery and cutlery - what is the point of having a dishwasher when there isn't enough to fill it in one go and still be able to have a drink?
Amazing Location for Barrio Alto! Really cool apartment, perfect for a group!
Great location, spacious, clean and comfortable apartment. A big plus is that it's right where you want to be in Lisbon - in the middle of the Bairro Alto & Chiado - without the all night noise! I would highly recommend the place, and would happily return next time.
While the instructions were adequate it could have done with a little more useful information - about some of the facilities - including how to operate the sound/digital television. Management was a bit vague too - including mistakenly giving someone else the code to our apartment - plus the hotline telephone reception just rang out......room for improvement there!
Apartment was in a great central location. Spacious bedroom & comfortable space down stairs. Plenty to see & do in the area with an abundance of bars & restaurants close at hand. Allowed to drop the bags off early which was handy.
Though the apartment was clean there was a slight smell of drains if all the windows were closed up
Position of apartment was excellent
Fantastic location, very good communication, clean and comfortable, actually quiet despite central location, everything you need for an easy stay
Aaarrrghghgh! The washing machine/dryer! Instructions are in Portuguese and it is so complicated, we put washing in and then it wouldn't give it back...sat through several cycles trying to get it out and meant we couldn't go for dinner! Staff unhelpful. It was a bit of a nightmare and we ended up taking wet clothes with us!
Great location Spacious layout Laundry in the unit
Not very clean Price high
everything, mainly the terrace, the view, the position, the rooms.
terrace not easily accessible. the area could be a bit noisy in the night.
This is a great place. Wonderful view and great location
The kitchen could have been better equiped for cooking but the prices in Portugal made us eat out everyday
no basics on arrival tea coffee water noise all night long
Good location. Looks new and clean.
You get via e-mail 3 codes, for the door, elevator and room. This wasnt clear to us and also other people who where arriving the same time, ie the e-mail needs to be more idiot proof. Some person answering the doorbell hung up on me, was rude. There is no safe in the appartment, which I consider a big minus since the code system didn't appear perfect.
Pin code sent in e-mail lets you check in at whatever hour. Place is remarkable because of just few meter distance to the tram and metro. Few meters walking distance to Alfama. Almost next door you will find meat bread and vegetables and also good wine and pasteis de nata. Flat is very comfortable, with great views.
I had too much wine :)
Simple, tasteful decor, incredibly comfortable and luxurious like staying in a palace. Views over the city and a great location - in the centre of everything.
The apartment was in an interesting and lively part of Lisbon - the Chiado. It was clean, large and appeared to have been recently renovated. There were full amenities - the kitchen was very well equipped, with new appliances and there was laundry available.
Checking in via phone was convenient but it did seem odd not to meet anyone from the rental company at any point. There were no instructions or guides for the appliances, wifi, etc. which would have been helpful.
Nice rooms, all service provided, nice view over Tague, modern equipped
We had a discount rate, otherwise it would have been too expensive. Bit a fuss with all the entry code stuff, but I guess that's modern security ;-)
Location. Very spacious.
Smell from water lines in apartment
Great location, good value. Clean and decent sized apartment.
only the wi-fi. It's too weak to be useful and that's not really good enough these days.
Excellent location for exploring Central Lisbon, very nice apartment, exactly as described
Poor wifi service
