The hotel has is artfully & thoughtfully designed with a castle-like exterior built from local stone. The swimming pool has thermal waters & is in a lovely warm pool room. The hotel rooms are huge & very smart. The restaurant food was excellent with a very good value for money set menu. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff were super & very helpful to us.

    There was nothing to dislike.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great value for money, spacious room, good location for sightseeing, peaceful. Good breakfast. Hotel receptionst recommened us excellent restaurant in Penamacor called O Quartel, which is worth visiting because great (and cheap) food and amazing views over the plain. There is also grocery store just short walk away.

Staff was really very professional and efficient and provide all requests. The Hotel is located in a very beautiful region, with an amazing landscape. A very good place to relax, explore nature, walking and practice nature sports.. Very good facilities.

We didnt like the fact not existing a SPA , in spite of being announced.

    Staff are really accommodating.

Food isn't the best. Wifi was practically unusable. Would have been nice to have a bath for the prices.

Friendly staff. Fairly priced. Super base for discovering that region of Portugal.

Car parking was a bit chaotic. Should mark out spaces with white lines
