We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was tastefully decorated and the rooms were quite comfortable. The staff were very polite and positive, going out of their ways to make us feel at home.
Poor wi-fi on upper floor No elevator
Really liked the old tiles, the wooden floorboards, and the overall atmosphere of the place. Beautifully designed, especially the various communal living rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The location is a bit further out to the West of Lisbon. Not a big problem, just at least during winter there are very few bars or restaurants that are open nearby. In short, the area is very deserted at night.
Informative knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very accommodating to our needs.
Wonderful old building beautifully restored. The staff were fantastic - so helpful and charming. A really great hotel.
The old building, the tiles, the general decor was good. Its a personal hotel . Staff was excellent.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, opposite the art museum and close to the harbour restaurants (10 min walk). Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Huge room with great mini bar and wi-fi. Good shower. Spacious communal areas with real fire.
Could hear the next door rooms' occupants a little bit too much at times due to poor sound insulation but that's the price you pay for staying in a beautiful historic building with wooden floors and panelling.
Excellent well-informed staff Delicious breakfast Quiet Short walk to station and bars and restaurant
Really nice staff. Surprised us with a bottle of champagne and gave us a tour to the hotel. Great shower!
It was raining so the outside pool rhat is supposed to have heated water was cold, but that's not something they can control.
This small, boutique hotel was part of a renovated mansion. The rooms were very comfortable, quaint and lovely. Each room is different. We looked out over a beautiful courtyard. Very clean. The staff could not have been more helpful.
The bed was pretty hard but for a couple of nights it worked.
This is a magnificent 18th century noble residence which has been sensitively turned into a superb hotel. Some of the rooms are really palatial. The staff are very appropriate to the setting and are extremely helpful in every way. Breakfasts are excellent.
Some people may find the lack of parking difficult: as we were travelling by train it did not matte to us. We could find nothing to dislike in any way.
The Palacio Ramalhete is an elegant boutique hotel. It is very charming. The staff was terrific, They went out of their way to help us. The breakfast each morning was delicious. We hope to return again
Interior architecture is very special and unique! Staff are friendly and very nice!
Beds are just OK
This is a surprisingly charming place. A beautiful house decorated with Portugese tiles. We were warmly greeted by delightful staff who could not do enough for us and our accommodation was excellent. The staff were attentive and able to recommend good local restaurants. We had a very early departure time but breakfast was prepared and even served in the dining room at 5.30am - that's service! The area is nice and quiet as it is just off the beaten track but easily connected to the main centres by public transport or a short taxi, or even a short walk. A treasure trove!
The hotel is in a beautiful building with the original period features. Whilst the room I stayed in was small, it had everything you needed. The star of the hotel are the staff - extremely friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to family and friends.
Rooftop pool Breakfast
Lack of value for money. We had an attic room without much natural light. We informed the hotel in advance we were on honeymoon but received nothing complimentary. Some members of staff were very young and perhaps not quite mature eniugh. Overpriced.
Staff very helpful , fantastic facilities opulent surroundings.
Atmospheric hotel with it's history. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast.
A three-day stay in Lisbon was made all the better thanks to the friendly and attentive staff at Palacio Ramalhete. The unique hotel is even more intimate than the online photos would have you believe, giving you the sense of staying in a luxurious home away from home. Great restaurant tip for our first night in Lisbon after a three-hour flight delay and great attention to detail for our eary morning check-out. Will definitely return!
Very friendly and professional service. Will recommend them. Thank you for a very welcome, comfortable stay!
whole ambience of the place, help from staff, comfortable welcoming place, restful and elegant
A beautiful property and the tram on site makes you feel like you are a guest in their home. A fantastic stay and good location.
A bit more choice gor in room dining
This is a tastefully furnished townhouse hotel - unique and tailored to the individual; we loved feeling like we were staying in a very comfortable home, with lovely staff, happy to attend to our needs and requests - we enjoyed breakfast in our room on two of the three mornings we stayed. The outside areas are beautifully maintained and so peaceful, including the heated pool on the top terrace. The location is good, slightly away from the bustle of the city centre, but a short tram or cab ride away. There are a couple of nice restaurants within a few minutes walk and the museum of fine arts directly opposite. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary - it was perfect.
Genuine care and interest shown by all staff. The location allowed for easy access to all areas and interests. Primarily, the aesthetic beauty of the place itself. Particularly the 'common' areas.
Exceptionally helpful & friendly reception team - they really were brilliant Luxurious surroundings
Cold buffet breakfast probably a bit over priced at 15 euros per day for what was on offer. This is optional however, you don't have to have it or you can breakfast elsewhere if you choose.
