Otelin konumu çok iyi kentin tam tarihi merkezinde ve Sao Bento tren istasyonu karşısında.Sabah 10 da otele vardığımızda odamız tertemiz hazırdı .resepsiyon görevlisi Porto şehir turları hakkında bilgi verdi ve turlara katılım biletimizi kendisinden alınca çok rahat gezmiş olduk,ertesi sabah erken,kahvaltı başlamadığı halde otelden ayrılırken bizim için yiyecek hazırlandı.Memnun ayrıldık herkese tavsiyer ederiz. setenay-güldehen

Though the facilities are somewhat dated, the location is great and the rates very reasonable. Rooms and common areas are clean and well kept. The breakfast provided is excellent and nicely presented. On our day of departure we had to leave for the airport before scheduled breakfast hours and yet the morning desk clerk had coffee and breakfast ready for us despite the early hour. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend Peninsular to anyone who wants a comfortable, affordable place to stay while visiting Porto.

My wife and I and a woman friend were delighted with our three night stay at the Peninsular in April. Having researched accommodation on the web for location and value, it exceeded our expectations. It is ideally placed for exploring the city. The rooms we had at a very good price, including a simple but satisfactory buffet breakfast, were plain but well maintained and comfortable, with flat screen TV and air conditioning. The 24hour reception staff all spoke excellent English were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent!!! Great! Otimo! The localisation is perfec, My second time in this hotel and I hope come back all my trips in Porto! Great and so nice staff ... Every time ill be back there ! L hotel est impecable et trooop beau style Art Deco! Localization meilleur IMPOSSIBLE ! Super au centre!!! Le personnel est trop sympa est la proprete est IMPECABLE ! Petit dejeuner trop bon! Aller sens peur! Foi minha segunda vez neste hotel q eu ADORO! Os quartos sao estilo Art Deco e confortaveis , e a localizacao do hotel melhor impossivel! A HIGIENE EH IMPECAVEL ! O staff super simpatico . E o pequeno almoco (cafe da manha ) super bom =) A booking de olhos fechados! Merci toute le personnel pour toute!

Employees were always very helpful and so happy with customers and with each other. I loved it.

Super good value. Admittedly it was a cheaper, last-minute rate, but the (included) buffet breakfast was excellent, and the location cannot really be bettered. Excellent, friendly staff. Big room, very comfortable.

The hotel, and the furnishings/rooms, are very old, and it could do with a bit of modernisation. It was also pretty cold - I had to have my mini radiator switched on basically all the time. The shower also wasn't the best - plenty of hot water, but the curtain was a disaster, and the bathroom in general was a little small. But, it was so cheap, you can't really complain about these minor things.

The location is excellent, being right by the main station and a metro station, right by the main square and less than a 10 minute walk from the riverside. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was basic but suited my purposes.

My room had very old fashioned furniture, although I did see inside some other rooms which looked more modern. It was cold in my room and took 2 full days of leaving the heater on full blast to get warmish - other parts of the hotel were also cold including the breakfast room. I was however, staying in January soi imagine its not like that all the time!

Excellent location, only really good for a stopover. Oldest working lift in Oporto. Breakfast adequate as there are ample other "troughs" a stones throw from the Hotel. Orange Juice appeared to be real squeezed Orange Juice when we stayed.

Shower, unlike the Lifts which did work, failed to operate, (some 95 years younger as well.). Splash out the Two Euros extra for the Deluxe accomodation..... Well it is a commercial decision.

Good location, simple and neat

Good breakfast. Comfortable but basic. Good location and graet value.

The location was good. Close to the subway.

The hotel was very cold. No heating :(

The morning staff, very helpful. The price and breakfast is great, and the location in the middle of the city is very helpful for people to go around the city.

The night staff and the light leading up to the room is creepy. The sensor system in the bathroom and the condition of the room can be improved.
