The hotel is in a good location for city touring and for travel with buses and the metro over the road. It appears that many of the rooms are very small (we were in room 23 for 3 days and it was cramped). We were able to get room 48 for a further 3 days and it was more spacious - both the room size and the bathroom size. Both rooms were airconditioned so we assume they all are which is good as Porto is quite humid.The reception staff are very helpful. There's a fair bit of street noise at night which can make it difficult to get to sleep. It would be good if the rooms had a small fridge in them but there is a communal one available on the 1st floor (reception folk control access). There's 100 steps between the entrance and the 4th floor (the elevator isn't working) which can be a bit of a workout! |

Very late arrival but night staff very helpful. Pensao do Norte one minute walk from Metro station Bolhao on line E direct from airport. Recently renovated to a high standard. No clothes hangers in room. Bathroom door did not fit. T^V not yet wired-in. It is still a bit 'work in progress' - but very central, clean and convenient for airport and other communications within Porto. |

right next ot metro station and in the center of the city to noisy, you can hear the neighbors , the hotel door everytime it opens, the walk sign on the street and the beds are a little uncomfortable |

Good value, centrally located budget hotel. It was easy to get to from the airport, the rooms were clean, the staff friendly and it was well positioned for exploring the city, which can be explored on foot. |

It was perfectly located in huzzle and buzzle of Oporto near cafe's, Metro,shopping and a lovely outdoor market.. Can't wait to go back Would have been perfect if it had in house coffee making facilities or a mechine. |

the energy efficiency of the lighting in the bathroom and halls.this could be used in advertising the hotel. the keys are too large for the doors and make a lot of noise on entry,disrupting other rooms.did not locate a common room or anywhere for relaxing other than the room |
