Excellent location to start with. Modest facilities, and compromise on the comfort apart, a great value for money.
Rooms are crammed, so is the bed.
Top Location, very friendly staff.
Location Private bathroom
One of the two days there were people partying just below my window, but with the window closed and earplugs I could sleep without problem :)
it's near to everything and good price and cleaning service good everyday
the stuff wasn't polite and anoying (a woman) and they make you feel like you work for them and the way they ask things or cheking everything you do to and tell you not to do some stuff but with aggressive way, Internet its bad ,
Central location, could have been better Friendly staff, always available, and with good English. WIFI available, and good speed
The gloomyest and unfriendliest place one could possibly stay at. There is no lift i had to carry my 20 kg luggage on my own and they didnot help me (i asked for it), not that they have to but even for courtesy. Its noisy and the walls are so thin that it is like you are sharing your room with other 30 people. Dont be fooled bu its being central there are hundreds of central places in Lisboa at the same cost
Close to everything. Excellent links for metro and train station. Reception manned 24hrs a day. Entrance door locked (entrance by ringing bell). Clean, beds made every day and towels changed regularly.
Only negative was that it is surrounded by busy streets, can be noisy late at night and early in the morning (deliveries to shops and bars).
We were given a larger room than requested. Also we had some initial problems regarding changes made in our reservation, but after some discussion upon arrival, staff agreed to our request and were very accommodating in every way after that. They lent us wine openers, hair dryers, etc. whenever we needed and gave us a good restaurant recommendation down the street. Security seemed very good. There were several convenient food markets in the close vicinity.
The neighborhood is noisy. It was our first time in Lisbon so we were unfamiliar with the atmosphere of each neighborhood and had decided to go with a convenient location. Next time we will stay in a quieter location. Due to unusual heat in October, we slept with windows open and experienced street noise throughout each night. Luckily we had stayed a week in Spain prior to this so we were already accustomed to sleeping under extreme noise conditions!
very very noisy!
service; location; comfortable room; internet connection;
Noise during the night
The friendly staff at reception, location to everything - Note very close to Rossio Train station. The shutters on the room in addition to the curtains :)
No elevator but meant short carrying of bags, not really an issue when reasonably fit and healthy..
The location is very close Rossio Square.
Really good location, helpful staff. Room was simple, but you had all what you need. I would go back.
location, staff is ok
the bathroom was catastrophically small, no place to hang the shower. The hotel is located at the 2nd or 3rd floor and there is no elevator, so you should carry your luggage upstairs. Noisy at nights.
Good location near Rossio Station, where the start point to Sintra. Many cafes and a large supermarket down to street. The wifi inside the room are quite good.
Old building with no lift you need to take your luggage at less 3/F (the receiption). Better shut up the window when sleeping, cafes downstair are quite noisy. No freezer and wardrode inside the room.
Location in the city center.
No phone in the room.
very good location, value for money, comfortable facilities,
nothing notable to note
- excellent position just in the city centre - quite friendly staff
- not realistic communication : I booked for1 family room but in reality was a small 2beds with a lateral 2 beds room with no window - bathroom with no window - toilet with neither window nor aspirator!! - noisy room (for centralized air conditioning pipes) - no lift (pension from 2 floor up) - charges for boarding pass printout - avoid room 316.....
The hotel can't get more central than that. Having been in different hotels in Lisbon, this one was by far the best located one, walking distance from the main square, Bairro Alto (night life), metro station, train station (to Sintra), the main highstreet, monuments etc.. It is clean and decent, and the staff is accomodating.
Travel light guys, the hotel has no elevator. If traveling during the summer, make sure you know there's no AC in the rooms. I'm 185cms (6ft) tall, and the bed was small for me, my feet were out.
Location perfect - everthing by foot taxi from airport to hotel 8 euro staff very helpfull
No lift no breakfast
Location is excellent, close to railway station and underground, and connected to the airport. You can walk to most places from there.
Our window was just above some bars and restaurants and it was a little noisy at night but it was understandable as it was summer.
Room was clean and had a shower plus a cupboard. Location was really good as it was close to the city centre and Rossio station.
There was no hair-drier,hospitality facilities. My room did not have a view-the window opened at the back of the building and it was really noisy and smelly.Could not sleep much on the first night as people were very noisy. The room was very tiny as well and had to walk up and down to the second floor every day.
Super friendly staff, location couldn´t be anymore central, just in the middle of everything! Unbelievable good value for the money!
The proximity to the centre was excellent. We stayed two nights in the same week - the first room was excellent-spacious,clean.
The second stay we were put in a room which was a bit darker, what we would not mind that much. However,we were woken up at night by noise and smell of the fans from what I assume was a restaurant. The room had a view of the court shared with te restaurant and it was not that nice
Central location, close to main sights. Helpful staff.
There is no elevator and there was too much noise coming from the streets during the night.
