Hotel Mar Azul  

Very good location. Our room was large enough, clean and very quiet. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast, included in the room price, is simple but sufficient. Excellent hotel and very good price for the location.

The staff were friendly and the location perfect facing the water with parking opposite the hotel for a small charge. However i would not eat in the restaurent which is in the same building but under different management, as the original bill was 90euros for 4 people but we were charged for an extra main dish and were not given the 10per cent discount offered for staying in the hotel until we sent the bill back twice to be reduced to 60euros.We advise anyone going on holidays to this region,be aware starters brought to table are not free,choose fish as meat quality not good and be prepared to be percistanly canvassed to go into every restaurent/.

The location was excellent. From the tiny balcony you can have an excellent sea view. I witness a great sunrise right from our cozy bed. The nearest beach is 5 min walk. On the other hand the entrance is in the middle of the most happening part of the city. Lots of restaurant of different couisine including indian, italian, continental, portugese to name a few. There are lots of curio shops with different interesting things for shopping. The staff was extremely helpful. They have given us a good suggestion for our small trip of Lagos. We find it very homely atmosphere. There is a simple but good breakefast included in the package. In short I really liked the hotel.

The internet was not working from the room. But from the lobby it is ok.

Helpfulness of staff, clenliness, and the close proximity to the town. Breakfast delivered on the balcony was a bonus!!

Excellent hotel location - on a street full of restaurants, shops and bars. Hotel was very quiet, cosy and clean. The staff was extremely nice. Breakfast was sufficient.

Parking is impossible near hotel, but it wasn't big problem. We left the car 10 minutes away from hotel. Bed was not very good.

Frankly it was a wonderful surprise to us to find how hospitable your staff were and how helpful they were in every way.. We would heartily recommend your hotel to everyone who visits Lagos as it is so well situated for all one could want in a seaside resort. Restaurants in full supply and curio shops of interest and the beaches nearby for those without transport. All in all, we would have wanted to stay another few days just to enjoy Lagos and your hotel a while longer.

There is nothing I did not like!

Large clean rooms, good value for money right in the centre of Lagos. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff and very good price. Rooms clean and bright with very pleasant breakfast/lounge area.

Breakfast could have been a bit more varied. Some rooms facing pedestrian area would be noisy. Noisy at weekends.

It is located at the main street. Good location!
